(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioners hosted information-day (Infotag) activities outside of the 2018 Frankfurt Book Fair on October 10 and 14. Visitors to the fair had an opportunity to learn about Falun Gong and its persecution by the communist regime in China. Many signed a petition calling to end the persecution.
This year's Frankfurt Book Fair (Frankfurter Buchmesse) attracted over 7,500 exhibitors from 109 countries and over 280,000 visitors, according to the official website. Many publishers, writers, reporters, and bloggers attended the event.

Reporter: “You Are Doing the Right Thing”
Pfitscher, a reporter with the European News Agency, stopped by the Falun Gong table on October 13. He said that he knew some information about Falun Gong and wanted to learn more.
A Falun Gong practitioner informed him that the persecution stems from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)’s fear that people who practice Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance would be difficult for the Party to control to sustain its power. Former CCP leader Jiang Zemin thus launched the persecution 19 years ago.
Pfitscher said that more people around the world are starting to see the true face of the CCP. The practitioner presented him a German copy of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party and said, “This book can help you better understand just how truly evil the CCP is.” He then showed him How the Specter of Communism Is Ruling Our World, written by the same editorial team. According to this book, communism is a cult that originated from Satanism and opposes faith in the divine for the sole purpose of ruining the morality of mankind.
Pfitscher indicated that he was very interested in learning more. He left his business card and said that he would be interested in reporting more news about Falun Gong to inform the public.
He signed the petition to end the persecution in China and said, “You are doing the right thing. I shall help as much as I can.”
Students: Such a Government Is So Brutal
Jasmine and Samia are students from Darmstadt near Frankfurt. They took a flyer from a practitioner upon exiting the conference hall. They were shocked to hear about the persecution in China, especially the killing of Falun Gong practitioners for their organs.
“It is completely beyond imagination. The crime of killing practitioners for organs is still happening today,” said the practitioner. He told Jasmine and Samia about the European Parliament's resolution in 2012 that condemns the forced organ harvesting of Falun Gong practitioners and other prisoners of conscience.
The two students signed the petition and commented, “It's too brutal! The Chinese Communist Party is against humanity.” “It's completely unacceptable for a government to kill lives and harvest others' organs against their will.”

Fair Attendee: “I Also Would Like to Learn Falun Gong”
Jessica Fregin stopped by the Falun Gong table, read a flyer, and signed the petition.
Practitioner Ly told her the healing impact of Falun Gong exercises and that many practitioners recovered fully from terminal diseases by following the requirements of a cultivator and doing the Falun Gong exercises.

Ly introduced the German version Zhuan Falun to her, “This is a book that helps people understand the meaning of life, how to be kind, and how to be healthy.” Jessica asked for contact information for the group exercise site in Frankfurt and said, “I also would like to practice Falun Gong.”
Ly often asked passersby, “Have you found the most valuable book today?” Many would shake their heads. Ly would then say, “I have a great book. Please allow me to introduce it to you.” He then shared the Falun Gong website and the German version of Zhuan Falun.
Chinese Exhibitor Denounces the CCP
Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Chen
A Chinese exhibitor from Shandong Province had lived in the United Kingdom for many years. He had joined the Young Pioneers, the CCP organization for elementary school students. Upon learning of the CCP's crimes in persecuting Falun Gong practitioners and causing a large number of deaths in China, he renounced his membership in the CCP organizations.
According to Ms. Chen, many exhibitors from China could visit overseas websites and therefore knew some uncensored information, including the persecution of Falun Gong. However, she found that they usually don't know the reason for the persecution and the importance of renouncing the CCP.
Ms. Chen often tells them about the crimes committed by the CCP and that it will be only a matter of time before the Party is held accountable. She explained that, because members of the CCP had to make a vow to give their lives for the Party when they joined, they must cut their ties to it to avoid meeting the same fate as the CCP.
