Additional Persecution News from China – October 5, 2018 (6 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 5 cities or counties in 4 provinces. According to this report, 5 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 11 were illegally arrested.

1. [Linyi City, Shandong Province] Ms. Guo Zengjuan and Ms. Wang Xiaoxiang Arrested
2. [Daming County, Hebei Province] Four Practitioners Detained

5. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhang Xiuqin and Her Husband Mr. Mu Shugang Arrested
6. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Sui Yuhong and Her Mother Detained

1. [Linyi City, Shandong Province] Ms. Guo Zengjuan and Ms. Wang Xiaoxiang Arrested

Ms. Guo Zengjuan, from Jiepai Town in Mengyin County, was arrested at her home on September 28, 2018. The police ransacked the place and confiscated her Falun Dafa books.

Ms. Wang Xiaoxiang from Mengyin was also arrested at home on September 29. The police ransacked the place and confiscated a computer.

2. [Daming County, Hebei Province] Four Practitioners Detained

Ms. Xu Mingxia, Ms. Zhang Meihua, Ms. Sun Yueqin, and Ms. Zhang Xifang, from Guan County, were arrested by Daming County Domestic Security Division officers in mid-September 2018, when they were distributing informational materials about Falun Gong in Zhaozhuang Village, Ying Town.

The four practitioners are being held in the Handan City No. 3 Detention Center.

3. [Shihezi City, Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region] Ms. An Wen Taken into Custody

Ms. An Wen, from Weifang City, Shandong Province, who went to school in Xinjiang, was arrested on October 2, 2018, by Xinjiang University Police Station officers. The police stopped her when she went through a security check and was found to be carrying paper bills with Falun Gong information printed on them.

Ms. An is being held in the Shihezi Police Department.

4. [Suihua City, Heilongjiang Province] Five Practitioners Detained

Ms. Bai Xia, Ms. Wang Fang, Ms. Wang Fuhua, Ms. Zhao Tingting, and Mr. Yang Chuanhou, from the Beilin District, were arrested on October 3, 2018 when they were distributing informational materials about Falun Gong in Lanxi County.

The five practitioners are being held in the Lanxi Detention Center.

5. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhang Xiuqin and Her Husband Mr. Mu Shugang Arrested

Ms. Zhang Xiuqin and her husband Mr. Mu Shugang from Shouguang City were arrested by Shengcheng Neighborhood Police Station officers on the afternoon of September 28, 2018. Their home was ransacked.

The couple was interrogated and threatened at the police station by Shouguang Domestic Security officer Yang Yigui and others.

Ms. Zhang was taken to the Weifang City Detention Center, but was released because she failed the physical exam. Mr. Mu was taken to the Shouguang Detention Center.

Ms. Sui Yuhong and her mother, in her 60s, from Beiguo Village, Shengcheng Neighborhood, were arrested by Shengcheng Police Station officers on the afternoon of September 29, 2018. Their home was ransacked.

Ms. Sui and her mother were taken to the Shouguang City Detention Center.
