(Minghui.org) The Shenhe District Domestic Security Division in Shenyang City was asked twice to provide additional evidence after they had submitted a case against six Falun Gong practitioners to the Shenhe District Procuratorate. The case was returned to the domestic security division by the Procuratorate on May 5, 2017.

The Procurator said that the case was rejected after it was reviewed. Higher authorities approved the rejection.

The six practitioners were: Ms. Wu Naiying, Ms. Gao Bo, Mr. Liu Defu, Ms. Li Guitian, Ms. Shi Yanqing and Ms. Zhang Qinghua. They were arrested for practicing Falun Gong, a spiritual discipline being persecuted by the Chinese Communist Party.

Arrests and Ransackings

Police from the Danan Police Station went to practitioner Ms. Gao Bo's home, arrested her, and ransacked her house at 7:30 a.m. on November 14, 2016.

Officers carried out the arrest for her faith even though her 10-year-old son and her bedridden mother-in-law relied on her care.

Police from the Zhujianlu Police Station and the domestic security division of the Shenhe District went to Mr. Liu Defu's home at the same time that day and arrested the 68-year-old Mr. Liu and his 65-year-old wife, Ms. Liu Liping, claiming that the couple had been putting up posters near Huanyuanmen in February 2016. Ms. Liu was released on bail that midnight. Their home was ransacked.

The police then took Mr. Liu to practitioner Ms. Wu Naiying's home at 11 a.m. that day. They asked him to knock at the door. Four practitioners were inside studying the Falun Gong teachings: Ms. Wu Naiying, Ms. Li Guitian, Ms. Shi Yanqing, and 80-year-old Ms. Zhang. They were taken to the Danan Police Station. Ms. Zhang was released at 10 p.m. Ms. Wu's and Ms. Shi's homes were also ransacked.
