(Minghui.org) I used to envy other Falun Dafa practitioners when I saw them clarifying the facts to people, because I was too busy in my phone shop to be out there with them.

I then realized that the shop was part of my cultivation path, for it enabled me to talk to my customers about Dafa. However, I missed many opportunities because of my attachment to fear.

Clarifying the Facts about Dafa

Master said,

“… if you sincerely do it for the other person’s sake, and there is nothing self-serving on your part, your words will be able to move the other party to tears. Want to give it a try?” (“Fa Teaching on World Falun Dafa Day”)

These words got me to think more deeply about the importance of talking to people, so I tried to think of others first in my daily life.

I tried my best to help my customers. I would also look at all options to fix the equipment they sent me for repair, and tell them how they could best look after their phones. I also helped my customers look through the details of their cell phone service plans, to help them be aware of, and avoid, unnecessary charges.

When chatting with customers, I talked to them about Dafa, the self-immolation hoax on Tianamen Square, quitting the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and the beauty of Dafa. As my customers trusted me, most of them quit the Party and its affiliated organizations.

Master said,

“Even when in your daily life you pass by people so quickly that you don't have a chance to talk to them, you should still leave them with your compassion and kindness.” (“Teaching the Fa at the 2003 Atlanta Fa Conference” from Teaching the Fa at the Conference IV)

Letting Go of Human Notions

I ran into all kinds of customers in my shop. When I used my human notions to judge those who didn't believe what I told them, my resentment easily flared up.

Master said,

“...all beings in today's world came for the sake of the Fa. If you want a being to clearly understand this point, you should go and clarify the truth to him.” (“Teaching the Fa at the 2003 Atlanta Fa Conference” from Teaching the Fa at the Conference IV)

From Master's Fa I realized that my customers could be my friends and family members from past lives. How could I possibly treat them with my human notions? How could I only choose to talk to people that I liked?

I changed my attitude, maintained kindness in my heart and always smiled.

A few customers often asked many questions, and I became a bit impatient. Later, I realized that this was not right. I adjusted my mindset and no longer held negative feelings towards them.

I once talked to two women about Dafa and quitting the CCP when they entered my store. They both agreed to quit, but still had questions on their minds. After I provided detailed explanations to their questions, one of them said that she finally understood the reason why it was important to quit the Party.

Software for Breaking Through the Internet Blockade

People generally use their phone to go online, so I give my customers software to break through the Internet blockade, so they can learn about Falun Dafa and the persecution.

When I spoke to a retired CCP secretary about the beauty of Dafa, he did not believe me and laughed at me. I felt pity for him, as he deeply believed in the CCP's lies and propaganda.

However, he agreed to have the software installed on his cell phone.

When he returned to my store, his attitude towards Dafa had totally changed. He had learned about the evil nature of the CCP and was ready to quit the Party.
