Let's All Look Inward: My Understanding of the Article “Eliminating Subordinate Soul Interference with the Master Soul”

When you meet with a conflict, it doesn’t matter whether you are in the right. You should be asking yourself, “What on my part isn’t right in this situation? Might it really be that there is something wrong on my part?” You should all be thinking this way, with your first thought being to scrutinize yourself to try to find the problem. Whoever is not like this is not in fact a true cultivator of Dafa. It is a magical tool in our cultivation. This is a distinguishing feature of our Dafa disciples’ cultivation. Whatever it is that you encounter, the first thought should be to scrutinize yourself, and it’s called 'looking within.'” (“What is a Dafa Disciple” from Teaching the Fa at the Conference XI)

I realized the infinite power of Master's lecture about “looking within,” and I have some suggestions for practitioners.

If you have a subordinate soul who is the reincarnation of someone you wronged in a past life, and the subordinate soul who persists in interfering with you, please look inward to see if you still have the attachment of seeking revenge.

When you see a subordinate soul spreading substances (drugs) in your dimensional field to make you sleepy, please look within to see if you still have the attachment of wanting to enchant others, or have other human desires.

When you see masters of the subordinate soul causing trouble for other practitioners, please look inward to see if you have rectified your relationship with other practitioners and Dafa.

It will be more effective if you first look inward prior to trying to eliminate the evil elements. Perhaps the lives that play a negative role will become good after you look inward, or Master and the righteous gods will get rid of those elements for you.

The author of the article “Eliminating Subordinate Soul Interference with the Master Soul” saw only the things shown to him at his level. Therefore, it can only be used as reference. Master and Dafa are the ones guiding us in our cultivation. As long as we follow Master's teachings to conduct ourselves, we are negating the old forces arrangements.

This is my current understanding; please kindly point out anything not in line with Dafa.
