(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 20 cities or counties in 12 provinces. According to this report, 22 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 21 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Chongqing] Mr. Li Xianming Taken to Brainwashing Center

Mr. Li Xianming from the Jiangbei District was arrested on June 19, 2016, by officers from the Guanyinqiao Police Station, when he was talking to people about Falun Gong. He was taken to the Qianzhugou Brainwashing Center in Geleshan Town.

2. [Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province] Ms. Sun Silian Tried

Ms. Sun Silian was arrested on April 20, 2016. She was officially placed under arrest two weeks later. She was tried by the Lushan District Court on June 20, 2016.

3. [Tianjin] Ms. Li Liying Arrested

Ms. Li Liying, from Nanchi Village, Gengle Town, She County, Handan City, Hebei Province, was arrested on June 20, 2016, near the Tiecheng Apartments in the Dongli District, Tianjin.

4. [Zhaoyuan County, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Liu Yanxia Arrested

Ms. Liu Yanxia was arrested by Ge Xiang, deputy head of the Zhaoyang County Domestic Security Division, and other officers on the afternoon of June 14, 2016. She was taken to a detention center for 15 days of detention, where she was denied admission when she failed the physical examination. She returned home that evening.

Ms. Yang Shuzhen, 56, was arrested on June 15, 2016, at home, by Mao Zunxing, head of the Yanta District Domestic Security Division, and other officers. Her whereabouts are unknown.

Ms. Liu Hui, in her forties, was arrested on June 2, 2016. She is being held in the Pi County Detention Center. She has been on a hunger strike.

7. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Jing Huiling and Another Practitioner Arrested

Ms. Jing Huiling and another practitioner were arrested on the afternoon of June 21, 2016, at a rental apartment, by officers from the Sanwayao Police Station.

8. [Huaihua City, Hunan Province] Ms. Yang Guizhu Arrested

Ms. Yang Guizhu was arrested by officers from the Xindianping Town Police Station in Zhijiang County when she was talking to people about Falun Gong on June 21, 2016.

9. [Langfang City, Hebei Province] Ms. Yu Huixia Detained

Ms. Yu Huixia, 54, was arrested and had her home ransacked by officers from the Nanmenwai Police Station on June 21, 2016. She is being held in a detention center.

10. [Zhuozhou City, Hebei Province] Ms. Jia Fengxian and Ms. Xu Shuying Detained

Ms. Jia Fengxian and Ms. Xu Shuying were arrested when they were talking to people about Falun Gong on June 20, 2016. They were taken to the Zhuozhou Detention Center.

11. [Laiyang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Zhou Xuemei Detained

Ms. Zhou Xuemei from Tuanwang Town was arrested on the morning of June 21, 2016, by officers from the Laiyang City 610 Office and the Tuanwang Town Police Station. She is being held in the Longwangzhuang Town.

12. [Chongqing] Ms. Xu Mingjin Detained

Ms. Xu Mingjin, in her sixties, was reported and arrested when she was talking to people about Falun Gong on June 14, 2016. Her home was ransacked. She is being held in the Baihelin Detention Center in the Shapingba District.

13. [Fuyang City, Anhui Province] Ms. Han Yueling Arrested

Ms. Han Yueling was arrested by officers from the Yingquan District Domestic Security Division on the morning of June 18, 2016. The officers ransacked her home and confiscated a printer, a computer, Falun Gong books, and other personal belongings. Her whereabouts are unknown.

14. [Foshan City, Guangdong Province] Mr. Zhang Shizhen Sentenced to Prison

Mr. Zhang Shizhen was sentenced to seven years and three months in prison in late May 2016.

15. [Shaodong County, Hunan Province] Ms. Zeng Dongying Arrested

Ms. Zeng Dongying from Wenzhu Village in Shuidongjiang Township was arrested when she was distributing Falun Gong informational materials in Jinlan Town in Hengyang City on June 19, 2016.

16. [Pingliang City, Gansu Province] Mr. Pan Qinghu Detained

Mr. Pan Qinghu from Caowan Village in Sishilipu Town was arrested on June 14, 2016 in Ordos City of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, while she was producing Falun Gong informational materials. She was taken to the Buriduliang Town Detention Center.

17. [Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province] Eight Practitioners Sentenced to Prison

Eight practitioners from Wuning County were sentenced to prison after being held in the Wuning Detention Center for over 15 months.

Ms. Zhong Xingxiu was sentenced to eight years, Mr. Wang Quanhuang to seven years, Mr. Wang Limin to seven and a half years in prison.

Mr. Zhou Qiliang and Mr. Tang Guoliang were each sentenced to over seven years in prison.

Ms. Tian Xiangui was sentenced to seven years in prison.

Ms. Tang Daofang and Ms. Hu Chuanju were each sentenced to four years in prison.

18. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Mr. Lu Xinping Arrested

Mr. Lu Xinping was arrested by officers from the Shuangnan Police Station in mid-May 2016. The officers ransacked his home and confiscated photos of the founder of Falun Gong, along with Falun Gong books and printed materials. Mr. Lu's whereabouts are unknown.

19. [Gongzhuling City, Jilin Province] Mr. Huai Guang and Daughter Ms. Zhao He Sentenced to Prison

Mr. Huai Guang and his daughter Ms. Zhao He from Fanjiatun Town were recently sentenced to prison by the Gongzhuling City Court. Mr. Huai was sentenced to four years and Ms. Zhao to three and a half years in prison.

20. [Sanmenxia City, Henan Province] Mr. Chen Shumin and Mr. Chen Shaomin Arrested

Mr. Chen Shumin and Mr. Chen Shaomin were arrested on June 7, 2016.

21. [Guan County, Shandong Province] Mr. Chen Wenchang Detained

Mr. Chen Wenchang was arrested at home on the evening of June 20, 2016 by officers from the Gantun Township Police Station, Wang Dewang, a police assistant, and Wang Ximin, head of the 610 Office of the Gantun Township Political and Legal Affairs Committee. He is being held in the Guan County Detention Center.

22. [Huma County, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Gao Shuyan and Husband Mr. Bai Jingdong Sentenced to Prison

Ms. Gao Shuyan and her husband Mr. Bai Jingdong were sentenced to prison in recent days. They were taken to the Women's Prison.

23. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Eight Practitioners Face Trial

Eight practitioners from Gulazi Village in the Hunnan District, were arrested on June 24, 2016. They are facing trial by the Hunnan District Court. The practitioners include Mr. Zeng Xianzhi, Ms. Zeng Xiuxiang, Mr. Jin Shinan, Mr. Sun Ruijie, Mr. Li Guoxiang, Ms. Wu Lianzhen, Ms. Sun Xiujuan, and Mr. Sun Zuowei.

Ms. He Shufang from Sartu District was arrested by urban management staff when she was talking to people about Falun Gong on June 13, 2016. She was taken to the Huizhan Police Department, then to the Daqing City No. 1 Detention Center for three days of criminal detention. She was not released after three days.
