1. “People Would Feel Ashamed for Admitting They Are CCP Members”

One evening I met an elderly lady selling clothes on the street. She told me that she was from northeastern China and had moved to Beijing after her retirement to be closer to her son. She had nothing to do at home, so she decided to become a street vendor.
I said, “So you must have heard about Falun Gong and why people are deciding to withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).” She commented, “In our area, people would feel ashamed for admitting they belonged to the CCP. Who wants to boast about that?”
I then asked, “Do you know about Falun Gong?” “I do,” she said, “I often see Falun Gong materials posted on the walls of our apartment complex. My husband and I never take them down and just smile when we see them.”
I told her that people who quit the CCP will be blessed. She said that her entire family has indeed been blessed. Her son got into a famous university in Beijing and found a good job after graduation. He then married and now owns a house. She also mentioned that she and her husband found a place to rent that cost only 1,000 yuan per month!
Before I left, I asked her to remember “Falun Dafa is good; Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” She patted her chest and said, “I will!”
2. After Reading the Nine Commentaries, a Man Tells Others to Quit the CCP

I met a man, about 40-years-old, who was telling people to quit the CCP.
Someone asked him, “Are you a Falun Gong practitioner?” He said, “No, I'm not. I just can't stand the CCP. What's good about it? What benefits do you get for being a CCP member? That's the reason I'm telling you to quit. Think about it: You are a veteran and gave up your youth for the Party. But now you don't even have a job, and you still have to pay Party membership fees! You say that the CCP is the great savior, so how come it doesn't save you?”
Several people who happened to be nearby all tried to convince this person to quit the Party. It was obvious that they were all acquaintances. The way they spoke was very humorous, and I couldn't help but smile. I realized that nowadays, people are all awakening, and those who are still CCP members get made fun of by their friends and co-workers.
Later I asked the man how he knew so much and he said, “A Falun Gong practitioner lives above me, and he gave me a copy of the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party.” So there was no surprise, then, that he understood the CCP so clearly!
