(Minghui.org) In the last two weekends, Falun Gong practitioners in Taiwan held all kinds of activities to celebrate the upcoming World Falun Dafa Day on May 13, which commemorates the day on which the practice was first introduced to the public. They also wished Mr. Li Hongzhi, the founder of Falun Gong, a happy birthday.
On May 1, 1,500 practitioners from seven counties in southern Taiwan demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises at Hengchun Peninsula, a well-known tourist attraction. They also held three marches in town. Many tourists watched the celebration and expressed their support for Falun Gong.

Practitioners held a celebration in Hualian on May 7. They also held a photo exhibition and performing arts show at Chihsingtan, a well-known tourist attraction, to tell the public about Falun Gong. Many tourists signed a petition to support Falun Gong's peaceful resistance against the persecution by the communist regime China.
