(Minghui.org) A 16-year-old girl from Mudanjiang City was still longing for her parents' release when she learned that her father had died in police custody, just ten days after his arrest.
Mr. Gao Yixi and his wife Ms. Sun Fengxia were seized from their home on April 19 for refusing to renounce their faith in Falun Gong, a spiritual discipline being persecuted by the Chinese communist regime.
Mr. Gao went on a hunger strike to protest the arrest, but was met with brutal torture. He died on April 29, at the age of 45. His family noticed severe swelling on his chest and handcuff marks on his wrists.
The police had an autopsy performed on his body the next day, but refused to provide the family with the results.
While mourning her father's death, the teenager constantly worries about her mother's well being.
