(Minghui.org) Practitioners in our Fa-study group cultivate more diligently after studying the Fa. Every morning we go to a market to tell people about Falun Dafa and then study the Fa in the afternoon.
Wherever we go, we often hear people say, “Falun Dafa is good,” and they thank us. In turn, we tell them, “It is Dafa that makes it possible for people to know the truth, so you should thank our teacher, the founder of Falun Dafa.
From the onset of the persecution of Dafa in 1999, those who believed the falsehoods put out by the Chinese communist regime have harassed Falun Dafa practitioners.
I was not swayed and just thought: “Master is righteous, Dafa is righteous, and our cultivation path is righteous. I believe in Dafa and Master. Master told us to take the Fa as Master. That means we need to study the Fa well.”
After extensive Fa study, we strengthened our righteous thoughts and began to understand how best to clarify the truth.
Bringing the Truth to People
Because of the persecution, the sites where practitioners produced large quantities of informational materials were destroyed. This did not deter us from our mission, which is to tell people the facts about Dafa. We made banners with a brush and colored paper and fliers using carbon paper.
One night we hung banners on electricity poles. A police car passed by right after we hung them up. They did not notice us, and we got home without any problem. Dafa protected us.
Another night, I went to a neighboring village to again post banners on electricity poles. I carried a basket with banners and glue. I posted the banners as I walked along the road so that people could see when they went to the village market.
Near the village, I heard the sound of a vehicle, but thought it was a truck and did not pay any attention to it. It was getting nearer, so I left my basket on the roadside and walked to a well on the other side of the road. It was a police car. I silently sent righteous thoughts. The car stopped not far from where I was, someone got out, looked around and said, “That was just someone who was watering.” The car left. I found my basket and continued posting banners. Through this experience, I understood this passage written by our teacher:
“When disciples have ample righteous thoughtsMaster has the power to turn back the tide”(“The Master-Disciple Bond” in Hong Yin Vol. II)
People Accept the Truth
When I went to a market to talk about Dafa, I met a woman who looked as if she was in her 50s. She needed a cane to walk. After I talked to her, she quit the Youth League and the Young Pioneers, both affiliates of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). She listened carefully and then decided to recite, “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.”
When I ran into her some time later, she no longer needed a cane and now also rides a motorized tricycle. When she sees me, she says, “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” She told other people the facts and they also recite the two sentences.
During the agricultural season, we go to the fields and tell farmers about Dafa. We met someone repairing a sprayer in an orchard. When we asked him how he was doing, he complained that the pesticide sprayer was not working and he was getting ready to go home. I asked him to say, “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good” and then the spray might work. He agreed, and soon after the sprayer worked. He then listened to the facts about Dafa and the persecution and agreed to quit the CCP.
Protected from Disaster
Three years ago, we saw a man reading a newspaper outside the village administration office. I gave him two fliers and said, “It's time to read something different.” He said that, according to the newspaper, hail had fallen somewhere and caused many losses. I said, “Falun Dafa can protect you from disasters. For that to happen, you have to quit the CCP.” He agreed to withdraw from the CCP. We gave him Dafa informational materials before we left.
One year, around 90 percent of the wheat was flattened by a gale. When we passed the same village again, the person who had quit the CCP told us, “My wheat was not affected even though wheat on the east and west side of my land was blown down. I want to help you promote Dafa.”
I told him, “You will be rewarded even more.”
Motorbike Starts Up
When I was taking a walk, a motorbike with two young men on it stopped in front of me. One of them said that the bike had broken down. I asked them if they had ever joined the Youth League or the Young Pioneers. Then I told them that if they withdrew from these two organizations, they would experience peace and safety. They said they had joined them.
“Hurry up and quit,” I said. “Also, silently recite, ‘Falun Dafa is good.’ Then the motorbike might run again.” They agreed. The motorbike started up, and they left.
Similar things have happened quite a few times. Because people listened and accepted the truth about Dafa, the power of Dafa manifested.
