(Minghui.org) Our local practitioners talk to people about Falun Dafa every day, and more people are saying that Dafa is good and they admire Master Li, the founder of Falun Dafa. The following is one example.
A practitioner and I went into a restaurant one day and noticed a middle-aged man sitting alone. We chose a table close to him and sat down. I asked him, “How is the food?” He replied, “It's good.”
I casually inquired if he was retired. He said, “Yes, I retired from the military when I was 39.” I told him that I thought he might have been an officer. He showed me his retirement ID and told me that he was a regiment commander.
I looked at his photo on the ID and said, “You seem like a very kind person. I wish you good fortune. Have you heard that millions of Chinese people are now withdrawing from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)?”
He didn't immediately answer, but said that I looked young and peaceful. The other practitioner told him that I was over 70-years-old. I added, “You know why I look young and peaceful? I practice Falun Dafa.”
I again brought up the topic of quitting the CCP. He told me that he'd heard about it, but risked losing his monthly pension if he quit his membership.
We were talking and he told me that this was his first time at this restaurant. I replied, “It looks like we were predestined to meet here. I believe we met here so I can help you quit the Party.”
He agreed and said he would quit. But when I handed him software that allows him to access websites blocked on the internet, he said, “I don't need that. I already know everything. I traveled to South Korea where there's a lot of information about Falun Dafa. The tour guide didn't want us to take it. The others were afraid, but I wasn't. I took several copies and brought them back to China. I know that everything they say is true.”
He continued, “I know a division-level commander. He and his wife both practice Falun Dafa. He was sentenced to eight years in prison for his belief. He continues to practice and is very healthy.”
Then he said very sincerely, “All Falun Dafa practitioners are good people. Many of them are highly educated. I usually don't talk about this. The situation here doesn't allow me to talk about this.”
He concluded by exclaiming, “I only admire two people in this world. Do you know who I admire the most? Li Hongzhi ̶the founder of Falun Dafa.”
I could tell these words came from his heart!
