(Minghui.org) Although the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) persecution of Falun Dafa is still ongoing, people are becoming less afraid of the Party. When Dafa practitioners suggest that it would be for their own good to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations, people listen, sometimes hesitate, but in the end generally agree to quit.
Promoted After Quitting the Party
My colleague was an assistant section chief at the Center for Disease and Prevention. I asked him to withdraw from the CCP when the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party was just published in 2004.
I gave him a few examples of how evil the CCP is, and told him that if he didn't want to be implicated with their terrible deeds he'd better withdraw his membership from the Party.
“You have been a secretary of the Party. How can you say that?” he questioned.
“It's because we have a good relationship that I'm telling you this,” I responded, “So you can have a good future. I have a DVD of the Nine Commentaries. Watch it before you decide.” He took the DVD, but didn't seem to be happy about it. He didn't even come downstairs to say goodbye when I left.
I ran into him about a year later. “I watched the DVD that you gave me, and I benefited from it,” he said. “I believe what I heard and submitted my statement to quit the CCP. I also wrote my statement on a piece of cardboard and hung it from a tree.”
“Really, I am so lucky,” he added. “They needed a deputy commissioner, and I was selected from among 25 candidates in the county. Tonight, there will be a dinner for me to celebrate my promotion. Please come with me.”
I was so pleased for him.
Gaining Wealth after Withdrawing from the CCP
I met up with someone I knew at a wedding. He asked, “Why was it so important to change one's name.” I had no idea what he was talking about until he explained further. He said, “Since last year, when you added a character to my name everything I did turned out so well.” Then I remembered.
I was talking to some workers who were building a house for my brother, and asked them to quit the CCP. Most of them quit. Then, a guy came from the back of the house, and his friends talked him into quitting the CCP. This was the guy at the wedding.
I remembered that he wasn't afraid of anything. He said loudly, “I joined the army and the CCP. Although I'm a member of the CCP, I really hate them. There is corruption everywhere. They don't care about people. Please help me quit.”
He wouldn't let me talk, because he just wanted to quit the CCP without any further discussions. His buddies told me that his name was Zhang Fu, which means being rich. I added one Chinese character to his name, making it 'Zhang Fuyou', meaning to hold wealth.
Since then, all of the projects he's undertaken have gone smoothly. So he asked me why this name was so important. I said, “The name isn't important. What's important is that you quit the CCP and eliminated the promise you made to the Party. So now a divine being is protecting you, and you're a person with a good future.”
One afternoon, I passed his village, and saw him drying corn on a road. It was a long road, about 1,000 feet, and the corn occupied the entire road. He told me that it all belonged to him.
“Congratulations!” I said. “Remember 'Falun Dafa is good' and 'Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good'.” He replied, “Yes, I say it frequently. I also watch the DVD you gave me regularly.”
