(Minghui.org) This was my first life-and-death experience during my ten plus years of cultivation.
On the morning of June 16, 2016, I was riding my motorbike to work. Right after I crossed the intersection on a green light, a truck on the other street made a quick right turn onto my street and was speeding toward me.
I moved quickly to avoid being hit, but another motorbike made a swift right turn at the same and hit my motorbike.
I flew up into the air and landed a few yards away, with my bike landing on top of me. Three words came into my mind at that very moment, “I am okay.”
The owner of the other motor bike, a young man, came up to me and moved my bike off of my body. I stood up and told him with a smile that I was fine.
The right side of my body was bruised and bleeding, including my foot, leg, arm and ribs and my bike was badly damaged.
After the young man helped me move my bike to a nearby bike shop, I briefly told him that I was a Falun Gong practitioner and that my master taught me to consider others first.
I told him that I did not want to cause any trouble for him, but I wanted him to remember that Falun Gong is good. I also gave him a DVD with the facts about Falun Gong, and then told him to get to work since I was fine.
Later when I thought about what happened, I realized that Master had saved me. If the truck had hit me, it would've been a disaster.
After I got home, I knelt down in front of Master's picture with tears in my eyes and sincerely thanked Master for his saving grace.
When I told my husband the whole story, he could not believe that I got up with minor cuts and bruises or that I didn't ask for any compensation. I told him that I paid the bike repair fee myself.
He was surprised and told me, “You are a true practitioner.”
I took two days off from work and spent time reading the Fa and doing the exercises. I did all the housework as usual. When I did the first set of exercises, I felt a lot of pain in my ribs while I was stretching. But I did not pay any extra attention to it.
Master said in Zhuan Falun, “Good or evil comes from that instant thought.”
If my thoughts had not been righteous at that very moment, I would have ended up with broken ribs, at the very least.
I told my colleagues of what happened after I returned to work. They all reacted the same way and could not believe that I did not get any compensation. I told them that I am a practitioner, and I was just doing what Master Li taught me to.
