(Minghui.org) A physician from Sanhe City, Hebei Province, who is still serving probation for his faith, is accusing former Chinese dictator Jiang Zemin of masterminding the persecution of Falun Gong that resulted in his and his wife's repeated arrests.
Dr. Kang Jingtai was arrested along with three other locals on August 22, 2014, for sending group text messages detailing the persecution of Falun Gong. He was later sentenced to three years in prison with three years of probation, which means he'd be jailed for three years if he violates his probation.
Devastated, his mother died 10 days after his arrest.

Prior to his latest arrest, he was given two years of forced labor in 2000, a few weeks after his wife Ms. Fang Chunyan gave birth to their son. Ms. Fang, a schoolteacher and also a Falun Gong practitioner, was repeatedly harassed while on maternity leave. She was later arrested several times for refusing to give up her faith.
When Dr. Kang was released at the end of 2001, he discovered that he had been fired by Sanhe City Chinese Medicine Hospital. Because prospective employers shunned practitioners for fear of being implicated, he opened his own clinic.
His elderly father passed away on October 27, 2013, unable to overcome his anxiety over his son’s illegal arrests and detention.
The 43-year-old physician, his wife, and their teenage son are still living in terror, wondering when they may be arrested again.

Background
In 1999, Jiang Zemin, as head of the Chinese Communist Party, overrode other Politburo standing committee members and launched the violent suppression of Falun Gong.
The persecution has led to the deaths of many Falun Gong practitioners over the past 16 years. More have been tortured for their belief and even killed for their organs. Jiang Zemin is directly responsible for the inception and continuation of the brutal persecution.
Under his personal direction, the Chinese Communist Party established an extralegal security organ, the “610 Office,” on June 10, 1999. The organization overrides police forces and the judicial system in carrying out Jiang's directive regarding Falun Gong: to ruin their reputations, cut off their financial resources, and destroy them physically.
Chinese law allows for citizens to be plaintiffs in criminal cases, and many practitioners are now exercising that right to file criminal complaints against the former dictator.
