(Minghui.org) A practitioner in my area was sentenced to a three-year prison term in July 2014. His family appealed to the intermediate court, over 60 miles away. We decided to select ten practitioners to accompany his wife to the court. Two cars were needed.
I had a hard decision to make. I wanted to go and had a car, but my husband is not a practitioner. He did not support me in joining efforts to raise awareness of the persecution of Falun Dafa, as I had previously been persecuted. I do Dafa work after he goes to work, so he's not aware. This time he'd definitely know, since if I used the car we'd need to leave for the court at around 6:00 a.m.
Local practitioners gathered together to make a decision on who would go to the court. One practitioner started to call out names. When my name was mentioned, a practitioner said, “She can't go.”
I hurriedly replied, “How do you know that I can’t go?”
I continued, “Let's have two options. One being to rent a car, and the other being to use my car if my husband agrees. Please send righteous thoughts to clear the interference behind him. I will talk with him tonight.” They all agreed to support me.
I asked Master in my mind on the way home, “Master, please have him support Dafa.”
I sent forth righteous thoughts at home that evening. My husband came home at a little past 9:00 p.m.. I said to him slowly, “I would like to go to the intermediate court with Xinsheng (the family member of the imprisoned practitioner) tomorrow. She needs to submit an appeal.”
My husband asked why her other family members can't help. I answered, “Her father-in-law and mother-in-law are old, and her other sisters don't live in this area.”
To my astonishment he said, “Okay, you can go. People should help each other. You can drive our car, but you have a learner permit and can't drive alone. Will Caihong (another practitioner) go? She can sit beside you as she's an experienced driver. Make sure you take enough money as you'll have to pay a toll on the highway. Let's take a look how much gasoline is left in the car. We can fill it up now if needed. You go ahead to phone to Caihong and ask her to go with you.”
I was touched, as his attitude had completely changed, and he was considering everything for the trip.
I realized that my human notions had blocked him from supporting Dafa before. My cultivation environment has improved, and my husband now has a more positive attitude towards Dafa.
