(Minghui.org) There are four open markets in our area. For the past eight years, we have been to each of them regularly to talk to people about Falun Dafa. Our informational materials have become very popular.
Police Stop Arresting Practitioners
The police used to arrest Dafa practitioners who distributed materials at the market, but have stopped doing so for several years now. They either walk away when they see practitioners handing out informational flyers or change out of their uniform and take the materials themselves.
Practitioner A and I met an officer at the market last year. He asked what we were distributing. When he heard they were Dafa materials, he said, “I would like everything you have.”
He shared that believing in Falun Dafa and sincerely reciting, “Falun Dafa is good,” really brings good fortune. He was hit by a car in December 2014, and came out of the accident without a scratch while his motorcycle was completely totaled. “I completely believe in Dafa,” he said.
Elderly Man Wants to Donate Money
In 2013, an elderly man asked what we were handing out. When we told him they were Dafa materials, he said, “I believe in Dafa.” After that, whenever we went to the market, he would always ask for extra materials to give to the people in his village.
The elderly man made a living by farming and collecting recyclables. He once insisted on giving us 200 yuan, saying it was from his heart. We thanked him for his kind gesture, but did not take the money.
More People Want the Materials
Many people at the markets look forward to receiving our materials. Some come to the market just for them, while others take extra copies for their friends and neighbors. One man once told us he needed a lot of copies because more than 100 workers were waiting to read them.
