(Minghui.org) There was a large market fair in our county on December 1, 2014. Mrs. Wei and I are Falun Dafa practitioners, so we decided to go to the fair and talk to people about Falun Dafa and the persecution.
On the way, a three-wheel truck passed us. It seemed to have hit something and two boxes fell out of its bed. The boxes opened up and dates were scattered everywhere. The dates were big and the most expensive kind sold in the supermarket.
We tried to alert the driver, but there was too much noise for him to hear us. I told my fellow practitioner to try to collect the dates and put them back in the boxes. I rushed to the front of the truck and gestured for the driver to stop.
“Two boxes of dates dropped off your truck,” I hollered at him. “My friend is looking after those two boxes now. If you don't stop your truck, I am afraid people will take them.”
The driver backed up his truck. He saw Mrs. Wei picking up the dates and putting them into the boxes. The driver was touched and had tears in his eyes. He said, “Aunties, you are such kind people. How can I thank you for helping me like this?”
The Goodness of Falun Dafa
I told him not to worry and that the founder of Dafa, Li Hongzhi, has taught us to be good people.
“So, I should thank Dafa's Master,” he said, “Falun Dafa is good. I thank Falun Dafa’s Master!”
We helped him collect the dates and he insisted that we accept some dates as reward.
“We practice Falun Dafa, so we do good things but do not ask for rewards,” I told him. He told me that nowadays there are few good people like us.
CCP Officials Steal Two Boxes of Dates
He sighed and told us that a year prior, he drove a truck loaded with boxes of dates. When he drove by a village, two people stopped him and asked what he had on the truck.
“Do you know who paid money to get this road done?” they said. “We repaired the road with our own money, so you have to pay if you want to drive on it!”
He asked these people how much, and they said 100 yuan. He told them that he had not sold his goods yet, so he had no money. So they demanded two boxes of dates. After saying that, and without another word, they took two boxes of dates and left. He wanted to catch them, but an elderly man persuaded him not to.
“Young man, forget about it. They are all thugs who work for the village secretary of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). They are a gang of bandits!”
When he heard the three words “Village Party Secretary,” he knew that people normally call someone like that a tyrant if he has the support of the CCP. Nobody dares to fight with them. He had to admit that he was unlucky that day.
Quit the CCP with His Real Name
The driver said, “When comparing Falun Dafa and the CCP, one can see who is good and who is bad.”
“Have you ever heard of withdrawing from the CCP and its affiliated organizations?” I asked him. “You will benefit if you withdraw from the CCP, the Youth League, and the Young Pioneers, whichever you have joined.”
He had indeed joined the Young Pioneers, so I suggested that I give him a pseudonym to help him quit the CCP.
He said, “I will use my real name. And what's more, from now on I will follow Dafa's principles of Truth-Compassion-Forbearance.
