(Minghui.org) There are many extraordinary experiences among those that practice or believe in Falun Gong. One such experience happened to Ms. Jin Xiu, my neighbor.
Ms. Jin suddenly felt uncomfortable at the end of last year. Her husband took her to a city hospital for a medical checkup, where doctors diagnosed her with late stage cervical cancer, and told her that the cancer cells were increasing rapidly.
They went for a second opinion at the Jinan Hospital, a provincial hospital in Shandong. The diagnosis was the same. She received chemotherapy treatments the same day and was scheduled for surgery one week later.
Explaining the Reason for Good Health
My husband and I visited her after we heard the news. She was in bed and said with tears covering her face, “I was diagnosed with a deadly disease. I am not sure how many days I have left to live after the surgery.”
She continued, “I admire you both so much. You're already in your 60s, yet you are healthy and energetic.”
I explained to her the reason for our good health, “We are healthy because we practice Falun Gong. Our Teacher, the founder of Falun Gong, purified our bodies, teaches us to follow the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance and how to become a good person. You know us well. Both of us had been rather ill in the past.”
Defending Falun Gong
Ms. Jin and her husband had heard about Falun Gong a long time ago. One time her husband encountered a person who defamed Falun Gong.
He asked him, “What's wrong with Falun Gong? Is there anything wrong with following Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance? Just look at the Falun Gong practitioners in our village. Any one of them is 100 times better than the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) members.”
I persuaded her to learn Falun Gong immediately, “Just forget about your illness and focus on studying Zhuan Falun, the main book of Falun Gong.”
Her husband was very supportive of the idea. I brought her a copy of Zhuan Falun the next day and we studied the book, one lecture a day.
Witness to a Falun Gong Miracle
After we had read three lectures in Zhuan Falun, she came to my home and told me about a dream that she had the previous night. She saw a round object flying towards her from the sky. Then, she felt light all over when she got up the next morning and wanted to know if the Teacher of this practice was taking care of her.
I said, “Teacher has implanted a Falun in you only three days after you began to study Zhuan Falun. Moreover, Teacher has purified your body. You really have a great predestined relationship with Falun Gong.”
As scheduled, she had the surgery one week later. She had not finished reading Zhuan Falun yet.
She had a pre-surgery checkup. Doctors found that her proliferated cancer cells had disappeared and the remaining cancer cells were clustered together in one area. Doctors said that they had never seen such a thing.
The surgery was successful. Her husband, son and daughter-in-law witnessed the extraordinary nature of Falun Gong. They appreciated Falun Gong and its Teacher from the bottom of their hearts.
Ms. Jin Xiu has since become a Falun Gong practitioner.
She said, “Teacher gave me a new life. I will use my own experience to tell people about the preciousness of Falun Gong in return for Teacher's saving grace.”
