(Minghui.org) I am a Falun Dafa practitioner who has experienced much since the beginning of my cultivation. The inspiring story of a 12-year-old girl, called Bo, stands out among countless moving stories that I have encountered along my cultivation path.
This young Dafa disciple displayed such a strong faith, a faith that is beyond her years. It clearly shows the power of Dafa, which gave her the maturity and determination not often seen in such a young cultivator.
Bo grew up in a mountainous region where many practitioners are spread throughout nearby villages. Most of them have limited literacy levels, but they are still eager to participate in the historic movement of suing Jiang Zemin, the former Chinese dictator.
I am part of an effort by a few practitioners that have traveled throughout the region since last June. We help practitioners prepare their lawsuits against Jiang Zemin.
Strange Disease Cured
Bo was diagnosed with a rare illness close to the end of 1998, at the age of 12. She coughed all the time and had to gasp for air constantly. Modern medical technology failed to produce a diagnosis, which prevented the doctors from finding a cure.
It was most unusual that when she was in the hospital, she displayed no symptoms of her rare condition. However, the moment she was released from the hospital, the disease would immediately reappear. Thus, she lost a lot of weight and looked ill.
Improved Health Because of Dafa
Her aunt, a Falun Dafa practitioner, said, “Why don't you practice Falun Dafa? Only Dafa can help you.” She soon learned the exercises from her aunt and read Zhuan Falun, the main book of Dafa.
Her family saw her cough get better. Soon her life turned around and she turned into a happy, healthy 12-year-old, with a ruddy complexion.
Once when her mother was cleaning the house, she found a pile of discarded prescription drugs under her bed.
“Mom, I am cured. Master, the founder of Dafa, purified my body,” she said. “I have not taken a single pill since I began to read Zhuan Falun.”
Inspired Villagers Want to Learn Dafa
When word got out, the villagers were amazed. Having witnessed the girl's recovery, 36 villagers, including Bo's mother and older sister, wanted to learn Falun Dafa.
As more and more people joined them, the group practice sites expanded from one to two, and then to three. Entire families began to cultivate in Dafa. Soon, the morality of the villagers was uplifted and neighbors lived in harmony.
“It was such a shame that the persecution started soon after we witnessed the little girl's recovery,” said one villager. “Almost every family's harmonious life was disturbed.”
The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and Jiang Zemin, the Party's head, forbade them from practicing Falun Gong and living by its principles. The villagers are of one mind – Jiang must be brought to justice.
Bo was admitted to a prestigious college in 2007. Because she talked to her dormitory roommates about Dafa and the persecution, the university authorities put pressure on her and said, “Continue your college education or continue practicing Falun Dafa, you can choose one or the other!”
The soft spoken girl replied, “I want Dafa. Without Master and Dafa, I wouldn't be alive today, much less a good college student.”
Then, she told them her life story. The school leadership was stunned and could not say another word after they heard Bo's story. They allowed her to get her college education. She graduated with excellent grades and is working in a major city.
Rock Solid Belief in Dafa
When Bo's mom and sister told her on the phone about suing Jiang, she said without any hesitation to count her in. She took the next train and traveled hundreds of miles to her village.
Looking at Bo's innocent face that held a sunny smile, I could only imagine the tremendous pressure and hardships that she had endured. As she talked about her experiences, tears covered her face. I could feel the gratitude she held toward Dafa and Master, the rock solid belief she had in Dafa, and her happiness of being among fellow practitioners.
After she had completed her legal documents against Jiang, she had to go back to work. As I saw her off at the train station, she whispered in my ear, “It felt so good to come home!”
Watching the train slowly pull out of the station, I couldn't help but be moved by her sincere heart and the profound happiness of a practitioner on the journey to return to her true home.
