(Minghui.org) I am 91 years old, and I can say one thing for certain: Falun Gong practitioners are good people.
My daughter-in-law is a Falun Gong practitioner. I trust and respect all my daughter-in-law's friends who are also practitioners, and I find that they are all exceptionally nice, especially to the elderly. To be frank, elderly people are sometimes afraid of not getting along with their daughters-in-law. However, my daughter-in-law is just such a kind person.
The television news claimed before that practitioners are bad people. I do not believe what is said on television, since I can see and observe with my own perceptions.
Yet, when I was 87, and two friends of my daughter-in-law were visiting her at my home, a dozen policemen broke into my house. They took her two friends away.
I was out for a walk when this incident took place. Upon returning home, I saw that these policemen had ransacked my house. I did not know what was going on, so I trembled when I entered my home. I saw my daughter-in-law had been forced out of the house. When she saw me, she took several thousand yuan from her pocket and handed them to me. She asked me to give the money to her mother.
Police Deception
Two policewomen saw this exchange. One of them said, “Aunty, let us help you count that money you have.” Without thinking, I handed them the money, and they did indeed count it. “We will need to investigate this,” they said, and pocketed the money. I could not believe they had done such a thing. How could the police be so bad?
I went outside and tried speaking to the police. “I am 87 years old. My daughter-in-law is taking care of me,” I told them. “No one can cook for me if you take her away. She has never done anything remotely bad!” Another officer responded, “Don't worry. We only want to ask her a few questions. She will be home soon.”
As it turned out, they did not let my daughter-in-law return for an entire year. When she finally came home, she was emaciated, her hair had turned gray, and several of her teeth were missing.
I learned later that she was tortured in a forced labor camp, and that her teeth had fallen out because of the beatings. But why? Why had they done this to her?
“I want to be fair to Falun Gong”
I am old and I may not have many years left to live. Yet I know the importance of being fair to Falun Gong practitioners. I want to say to the world: “People who learn Falun Gong are genuinely good people! Stop arresting them!”
Every day, I wish that Jiang Zemin would be brought to justice. It was him who ordered that practitioners be arrested.
My two daughters recently visited me and they were surprised that I looked younger than when they last saw me. I am even healthier than them, and they are in their 70s. They exclaimed, "You must have been blessed by Falun Gong!"
Of course, all my blessings are because I support Falun Gong from the bottom of my heart.
