(Minghui.org) Since late December 2015, a total of 33 locals from Qian'an City, Hebei Province have been questioned by police regarding their lawsuits against Jiang Zemin for launching the persecution of Falun Gong.

The harassed practitioners hail from various villages and townships of Qian'an City. Some of them refused to open the door when the police descended upon their homes, while others took the opportunity to explain why they had to try to bring the former Chinese dictator to justice.

None of the practitioners signed the police-prepared statements for them to renounce their faith or withdraw their criminal complaints against Jiang.

7 from Wuchongan Township

Three officers from Wuchongan Township Police Station harassed a total of six practitioners from three subordinate villages on December 30, 2015, including:

Cui Xiaoying and her husband He Haiwen from Gengxinzhuang Village;Wang Fengzhi and Wang Fengling from Gongshang Village; andWang Gui'e and Su Jingrong from Hezhuang Village.

Except for Ms. Su, the practitioners received a followup visit on January 12, 2016 from two local judicial staff members, who also stopped by the home of Mr. He Xinjiang from Hezhuang Village.

11 from Qian'an City

The following residents living in Qian'an City were harassed:

Fu Zhenguo, a retired employee of Qian'an City Commerce Bureau, was questioned by officers from Chengguan Police Station on December 30. The police threatened to suspend his pension and get his two daughters fired from work if he refused to renounce his faith.

Mr. Fu was joined by the following practitioners, who also received unexpected police visits:

Cui Qingru, a retired worker from Qian'an City Credit Union

Yuan Chunlin and Liu Xiaoyuan: both former employees of Qian'an City Industrial and Commercial Bank

Gao Tiezhen: a retired worker from Tangshan Steel Group

Luo Yingmin: a worker at Qian'an City Food Company

Guo Zhengping and Li Xueying: both retirees
