(Minghui.org) I have a farm with over four acres of peach trees. My peaches are always the best sellers at the wholesale produce market.
I sell my peaches in baskets. I strictly follow the quality standard and make sure that every peach in the basket is good and fresh. I ask for a reasonable price. Produce buyers like to buy peaches from me. When they learned that I practice Falun Gong, the buyers even decided that my peaches were exempt from quality inspection.
During harvest season, there is always a long line of farmers selling their peaches at the wholesale market. Sometimes the atmosphere can get very intense between the farmers and the buyers – the farmers are eager to sell at a good price, but the buyers are nervous about bad peaches hidden in the baskets. When the buyers spend a long time checking the quality, conflicts can easily arise.
It was in fact during a break time for the buyers when they bought their peaches from me. They never inspected my peaches and directly loaded them onto their trucks.
A customer once said to me, “It would be so great if everyone who sold peaches practiced Falun Gong. My work would be so much easier and I could make a better profit.”
Many people told me that my peaches looked very pretty and were very easy to sell. They only wanted my peaches. Other farmers at the market often asked if they could jump in line and sell peaches before me, as otherwise their customers wouldn't want to buy from them if they saw my peaches first. I tried my best to help them.
Once, when a new customer came to the market, the director of the market introduced me and told him that I practice Falun Gong, and that there was no need to inspect my peaches. That customer bought my peaches and didn't say anything. The director later told me that after I left, the customer took out two baskets and looked through the peaches one by one. Then he said, “It's true; it's really very nice, very nice.”
When I returned the next day, the new customer was loading peaches. He stopped working and waved me over. He stood on his truck and shouted, “Falun Dafa is great!”
That took place in 2001, when the persecution of Falun Gong was most severe. It was no small thing for him to shout that in front of so many people.
Another customer once said to me, “I can't give you this price anymore.” I didn't understand at first. He continued, “Your peaches exceed my standard. I will pay you 5 cents more for each jin [about 0.9 pound].”
During my several years of selling peaches, many people have learned the facts about Dafa. They learned that Falun Dafa is good, and that people who practice Falun Dafa are very kind and trustworthy.
