(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 4 cities or counties in 4 provinces. According to this report, 3 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 14 were illegally arrested.
1. [Shulan City, Jilin Province] Eleven Practitioners Arrested
2. [Shizuishan City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region] Ms. Cheng Jianghong Detained
3. [Zhucheng City, Shandong Province] Ms. Ma Shuyan Arrested
4. [Lingyuan City, Liaoning Province] Two Practitioners Detained
1. [Shulan City, Jilin Province] Eleven Practitioners Arrested
Ms. Xi Yahong, Ms. Wang Pengying, Ms. Wang Yuzhen, Ms. Wang Yuzhuo, and Ms. Chen Yuxia were arrested for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong in Kaiyuan Township and Xin'an Township on October 12, 2016. One practitioner was released. The other four practitioners were taken to the Jilin Detention Center.
Ms. Yin Limei, Mr. Jiang Yuejun, Ms. Yao Chunyan, Mr. Yu Hongfu, Mr. Niu Yuhui, and Ms. Chu Yuzhen were arrested on October 13, 2016. Mr. Jiang's home was ransacked. Ms. Yao and Ms. Chu have returned home. Mr. Yu and Mr. Niu were taken to the Jilin Detention Center.
2. [Shizuishan City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region] Ms. Cheng Jianghong Detained
Ms. Cheng Jianghong, her parents, and her younger sister, from Huinong District, were arrested by several dozen police officers when on their way to Yinchuan City on the morning of October 11, 2016. The family of four was taken to the police department. Three of them were released around midnight that day, and Ms. Cheng was given 15 days of detention.
3. [Zhucheng City, Shandong Province] Ms. Ma Shuyan Arrested
Ms. Ma Shuyan was arrested by officers from the Changcheng Town Police Station on October 13, 2016, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. She was released around nine o'clock that evening.
4. [Lingyuan City, Liaoning Province] Four Practitioners Arrested and Two Detained
Ms. Wang Yanqiu, Ms. Wei Lianqin, Ms. Liu Fengrong, and Ms. Wang Fengying were arrested by Zhang Jun and other officers from the Beijie Police Station on the morning of October 12, 2016, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. Ms. Liu and Ms. Wang Fengying were released, but Ms. Wang Yanqiu and Ms. Wei were taken to the Chaoyang Detention Center.
