(Minghui.org) I was arrested in July of this year for distributing Falun Dafa informational DVDs.
At the police station, the local security officer said that I would face severe punishment because Xi Jinping, the Chinese President, was at a conference in Chengdu City.
I was not affected and remained calm. I told him that Falun Dafa teaches people to be good and that it is a crime to persecute Falun Dafa.
Refusing to Cooperate
The police officers searched my bags and found the DVDs. They asked my name, which I refused to give. The officer who arrested me said that they could not release a Falun Dafa practitioner unless they know his or her name.
“We will release you immediately,” said the deputy director, “once you give your name. Otherwise you will be here forever!”
“I'm in deep remorse for arresting you,” said the other officer quietly. “If you had begged me, I would have released you. You don't look like a bad person.”
I recited Master's Fa in my heart: “No matter what the situation, do not cooperate with the evil’s demands, orders, or what it instigates.” (“Dafa Disciples’ Righteous Thoughts are Powerful” from Essentials for Further Advancement II)
As I refused to cooperate, more than a dozen officers pressed me down and put shackles on me. They handcuffed my arms behind my back and put a heavy head gadget on my head to torture me. Then I was pushed into a small dark cell.
“You are committing crimes.” I shouted to them, “I have not committed any crimes. I will sue you in the international court.”
Omissions Caused Old Forces Interference
“Do not persecute me,” I said to the old forces. “I am doing the most righteous thing in the universe. I am awakening sentient beings. You are committing crimes by interfering with me. I admit I have omissions. But you are not the being to test me. I only follow the path that my Master has arranged for me.”
I looked within for any omissions and found that I had jealousy and a show-off mentality. However, I was diligent in studying the Fa, sending righteous thoughts, and clarifying the truth about Dafa to people face to face.
I did, however, force my ideas on other practitioners and thought that they did not tell the truth to people as well as I did. I had become very arrogant, yet I was not aware of it. I had slacked off in cultivating my xinxing.
The head gadget was so heavy and it covered my eyes, nose and mouth. I could barely breathe. The handcuffs cut deeply into my flesh. My arms and legs began to cramp. I recited Master's Fa again and again until I fainted.
Master said:
“Cultivation is hard. It’s hard in that even when a terrible calamity strikes, even when evil madly persecutes, and even when your life is at stake, you still have to be able to steadfastly continue on your path of cultivation without letting anything in human society interfere with the steps you take on your path of cultivation.” (“Path” from Essentials for Further Advancement II)
Refusing to Cooperate
I woke up when an officer poured cold water on my face. The deputy director and a group of officers were surrounding me.
“What crime did I commit that you persecute me like this,” I said. “I didn't commit murder or arson, rob, or steal. I didn't do any harm to society. I only tell people that Falun Dafa is good. Our Master is being wronged. We are peaceful, rational, and non-violent. Don't we have the right to speak out as citizens?”
They then took me to another place where I was interrogated. I continued sending forth righteous thoughts, clarified the truth to dissolve the evil and asked Master to strengthen me.
I did not cooperate during the interrogation and only said “Falun Dafa is good.” When they asked me to sign a document, I signed “Falun Dafa is good.”
The interrogation took 15 minutes. Then, I told them the facts about Dafa and the truth about the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).
I talked for one-and-a-half hours and was told that I spoke well. One officer acknowledged that Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.
“I find you are remarkable.” said a policewoman, “You have changed people's minds.”
When my human thoughts came up, I refused to accept them, dissolved them and held strong righteous thoughts.
Released
I was taken back to the police station the next day and the deputy director said that I could go home. I felt an unnamed pressure though after I walked out of the police station.
I walked slowly and noticed that three people were following me. When I walked fast, they walked fast, and when I walked slow, they walked slow. I entered a market. They followed me. Then, I walked around in the market until I saw a taxi. I lay down on the backseat and saw them passing by. I told the driver to leave immediately and where to go.
This ordeal showed me that only when we follow Master's requirements can we escape tribulations and have a bright path.
