(Minghui.org) A few days ago, I went to a farmer’s market with a fellow practitioner to tell people the facts about Falun Gong and the persecution. While we were waiting for a bus on our way home, we came across a group of taxi drivers, who waited on the side of the street. We attempted to tell them the facts about Falun Gong. Some believed us, some did not and some even laughed at us.
One of the taxi drivers walked up to me and said: “Don’t let them stop you from telling them about Falun Gong. I know all you Falun Gong practitioners are good people.”
He turned around and said to his fellow drivers: “These older ladies are good people. Their telling us the truth is for our own good and salvation. They bring us good fortune and safety. It’s not a joke. If we don’t take them seriously, we are not taking ourselves seriously. If we don’t treasure them, we don’t treasure ourselves. I want to share my experience with all of you.”
After hearing the taxi driver’s story, five taxi drivers withdrew their memberships in the Chinese Communist Party and its affiliated organizations.
The following is the story that taxi driver told to his fellow drivers.
I previously also didn’t believe what Falun Gong practitioners said. I once drove to Fuxing City for a visit. I was in a rush and drove very fast. I hit someone on a motorcycle because I didn’t break in time. The motorcycle was badly damaged and the driver flew into the air. I almost fainted from shock. I quickly got out of the car and intended to take this man to the hospital. But he got up and said he was fine because he practices Falun Gong and his teacher had protected him. He didn’t ask me for any money and that I could leave.
I was so touched that I had been so lucky to have hit a good person like him. Had I hit anyone else, I don’t know how much money I would have had to spend to settle this matter. However, he is a Falun Gong practitioner and with only that one simple sentence, “No problem, I won’t ask for any money from you, you can leave,” that was it.
From then on, I completely changed my view about Falun Gong practitioners when they told people the truth. I believed what they said. I knew in my heart that only Falun Gong practitioners are the real good people in this world.
A few days after the accident, I went to visit that man and I was happy to listen to what he had to say. He told me the truth and I withdrew from the Communist Party's organizations. I also read Zhuan Falun. We became very good friends.
