(Minghui.org) Most all Falun Dafa practitioners in my area participate in group Fa-study. We also each maintain a materials production site at our homes, and we distribute our Dafa informational materials on our way home from group Fa-study,
There are six practitioners in our group, with ages ranging from 40 to 80. Our group was formed more than two years ago. I understand that group Fa-study helps practitioners keep up with the Fa-rectification process, share understandings and experiences, and helps each other advance diligently.
Studying the Fa in a Group
Before we established our Fa-study group, each practitioner had joined a small group. It was by a coincidence that this group came into existence.
Ms. Hui and I used to be in the same Fa-study group prior to July 20, 1999. That group was dissolved because of the persecution and we lost touch. We met again about two years ago. Actually, I had an urge to see her and remembered where she worked.
“What good timing! I was just wondering where to find you! I need your help,” she said. “My mom is a former practitioner who gave up Dafa on July 20, 1999 (when the persecution of Falun Dafa started). Recently, she agreed to come back to Dafa. She's in her upper 70s and it is not easy for her to attend a group study. Practitioners in our area all have their own study groups, and who would come to study the Fa with her?”
She asked me for help. We went to see her mom immediately and decided to meet daily for lunch.
Tolerance Tested
My tolerance was tested during the first two days. The elderly practitioner was uneducated, made mistakes and missed words in almost every sentence when she read. I had to correct every single sentence.
I am an impetuous person and do everything fast. This was a tremendous test for me. Whenever I felt I could not stand it anymore, I told myself that this provided me with the opportunity to get rid of my attachment to impatience. I must cherish the opportunity and tolerate, tolerate and tolerate. My impatience was replaced by patience within a month.
Also, this practitioner's reading had improved. She could read faster with less mistakes or missing words. It is true that when we study the Fa in a group it can temper us
This elderly practitioner told us one day that when she studied the Fa by herself, every letter in the book was golden and shiny. She saw golden beads on the tabletop when she did the exercises and her hands held golden ribbons.
“Practicing Dafa is so wonderful. I regret so much that I slacked off for so long. I thank Master Li (the founder of Falun Dafa). I will never slack off again!"
Not Fooled by Old Forces Arrangement
A xinxing test arrived immediately. The elderly practitioner asked me to get her MP3 player fixed. I got it fixed and returned it. The next day, Ms. Hui called me and asked that I bring my MP3 player because her mom insisted that I had switched her MP3 player with mine.
This was ridiculous, as my MP3 player was of a different color and content. I decided to explain this to her, but then I thought of Master's Fa. I realized that if I explain I try to prove a point, Master said,
"'He's right,And I'm wrong,'What's to dispute?"(“Who's Right, Who's Wrong” from Hong Yin III)
Before the Fa-study, I gave my MP3 player to the elderly practitioner and asked her to compare the two, and she could keep the one she believed to be hers. Ms. Hui explained to her mother that the two MP3 players were different and hers was similar to her own because they were bought at the same time and had letters on them.
I did not want the elderly practitioner to feel embarrassed in front of the entire group. So, I said, “That's alright. It is not that Auntie wanted to blame me, it is interference that wanted to create a separation between us. Let's not be fooled by this interference. We will not be separated.”
This elderly practitioner thanked me the next day for taken so much trouble to have her MP3 player fixed. She also apologized because she blamed me.
“It is an illusion created by the old forces, trying to separate us,” I said. “This situation helped me remove my attachment to not being blamed.”
This incident helped our group to look at things from the Fa's perspective. We all felt that studying the Fa together helped us improve faster and remove our attachments. In particular, we felt stronger energy and power while sending forth righteous thoughts.
CCP on the Brink of Collapse
Master said,
"The Dafa disciples' three things are to be done well. At present, the most important thing is to save sentient beings, save more people! That is the most important thing." (“Fa Teaching at the 2007 New York Fa Conference”)
The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) distorted facts, slandered Dafa, and deceived many people. We realized that the CCP is on the brink of collapse. This is shown through cosmic changes, retribution that has happened to people who have persecuted Dafa practitioners, and there is the discovery of the Hidden Character Stone in Guizhou Providence that foretells the demise of the CCP. Anyone who does not know the facts will surely go down with the CCP.
We all felt that time is of the essence and we wanted people to understand the facts about Dafa sooner and be safe. We went different ways after our group Fa-study. Some made Dafa truth-clarification materials, and some would {{clarify the facts} to people face-to-face and persuade them to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations.
Police Chief Understood the Facts about Dafa
When a practitioner talked to a taxi driver about Dafa, he wanted to take her to the police station. This pracitition said to him that he would harm himself and explained the facts about Dafa further. He listened, turned around and dropped her at her destination.
Another practition, in her 70s, tells people about Dafa in shopping centers, on streets, and at the Sunday farmers market. She persuades a few dozens people to quit the CCP each day.
She decided to distribute all materials she had brought along. Her non-practitioner daughter said that she would help her. After a while they realized that they were being followed. They separated. When she arrived at a big hotel, it was very bright and there were a lot of cars parked. As soon as she put the self-adhesive posters on the electric pole, two police officers jumped out of a car.
They arrested her and took her to the police station. She talked to them about Dafa and continued to do so in the police station. The police chief had listened to many practitioners and understood the facts about Dafa. The practitioner was released the same night.
There are still many people who do not understand why practitioners continue to talk to people about Dafa and distribute Dafa informational materials. We want to tell them that we do that out of compassion. We want them to understand the truth sooner about the CCP, quit the Party and its affiliated organizations, save themselves and not be brought down with the CCP. Isn't that the best for your future?
