(Minghui.org) My criminal complaints against Jiang Zemin, the former leader of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), were accepted by China's Supreme Court. Since filing them, I have experienced a purification, and my cultivation state has greatly improved.
I also further clarified the truth to my family members by discussing my charges against Jiang. Their attitudes about Falun Dafa are now more positive.
However, the Minghui website has reported that many fellow practitioners who sued Jiang were harassed or arrested by the police. Family members were also pressured. Some practitioners clarified the truth with righteous thoughts when they were questioned. When they were released, the police thanked them for explaining the recent developments.
The local officers in my area did not come to persecute us about our lawsuits against Jiang. I decided not to passively wait for them, because I did not want them to commit a crime. We should proactively clarify the truth through our lawsuits against Jiang.
I called the local police station to make an appointment with their director, but was not allowed to meet with him until three days later. After a brief introduction, I told him that over 150,000 people have sued Jiang, and I was one of them.
“Do not participate in the harassment of Falun Gong practitioners,” I said.
“It is your right to sue anyone, and no one should interfere,” he replied. “Let me know if anyone tries to do so.” He then walked me to the door.
I went to my local community center after I left the police station and met with their director. She was surprised by my visit.
I greeted her by saying, “I am one of the 150,000 people who are suing Jiang Zemin.”
“My mother-in-law is also a Falun Gong practitioner,” she replied. “She demonstrates the goodness of Falun Gong with her behavior.”
The director did believe in the Chinese regime's propaganda about Falun Gong practitioners. When she previously visited Taiwan, she saw Falun Gong practitioners everywhere. She said that if practitioners were as the CCP claims, the Taiwan government would not allow them to practice. She escorted me to the door and said, “Because the situation has changed drastically, I believe the future of Falun Gong practitioners will be brilliant.”
I recommend that fellow practitioners who have sued Jiang take the initiative to clarify the truth to their local police.
