(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Li Ailing opened her door to a man who was distributing advertisements door-to-door on July 16, 2015. She talked with him about the persecution of Falun Gong and gave him some pamphlets. She also helped him withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its youth organizations.
The man shortly returned with two police officers from the Jitai Police Station. The police demanded that she come to the station, and said that someone reported her for distributing Falun Gong materials. Her husband and sons would not let her go to the station.
The station director claimed that she could leave as soon as they recorded the incident. Therefore, Ms. Li Ailing and her husband went with them, while her sons and daughter followed in their car.
She continued to talk about Falun Gong at the police station, and the officers listened without uttering a single word.
“The main perpetrators in the persecution of Falun Gong were arrested one after another, and Jiang Zemin is next,” said Ms. Li's husband to the police. “You tortured my wife close to death. She had bruises all over her body. Then, they force-fed her and injured her airway. She was bleeding for three months. Her doctor told us that she would not recover and would soon die.”
He continued, “After she was released, I asked what she thought of those police officers. Did she hate them? Her reply moved me to tears. She said Jiang is the evildoer, and the police officers are also victims.”
He asked, “Do you still want to persecute such people?”
“She benefited so much from Falun Gong and is healthy. Her leg edema and bronchitis were cured. Such a good practice is so unfairly treated!”
She left the station in the afternoon in an upright, dignified way.
