(Minghui.org) I went to the local post office to mail my criminal complaint against Jiang Zemin on July 6, 2015. A young female clerk was the only person working at the time. I filled out an express mail form and gave it to her. She glanced at the letter and put it in the envelope.

I asked for another form for my second document. When I handed her the form and the complaint, she read through it. She asked why I had not gone to the Appeals Office to complain. I said that we were suing Jiang Zemin to bring him to court for the persecution of Falun Dafa—as opposed to appealing.

I told her that if some post offices were not accepting the express mail complaints, then we would go to Beijing to submit the complaints.

The young clerk said that the post offices should deliver the express mail, as it is a citizen's basic right. She did not know whether the court would accept the mail, but she said they would notify us if it was returned.

She added, “We deliver a variety of mail at this post office, including those addressed to Xi Jinping.”

She had a sense of justice, so I gave her a disk containing anti-censorship software. I told her to follow the instructions on the disk, and she would be able to read uncensored news from around the world. She accepted the disk and thanked me.

Before another practitioner went to the same post office to mail her complaint against Jiang, I asked the practitioner to encourage the young clerk to quit the Chinese Communist Party. This practitioner replied that she had spoken to the clerk before, but the girl would not quit.

I reminded the practitioner not to give up on the female clerk.

I ran into the practitioner a few days later, and she said that the young clerk indeed quit the Party this time. I was very happy for that young lady.

I believe that the process of suing Jiang is a good opportunity to tell people about Falun Dafa, and about the persecution implemented by the communist regime.

Background

In 1999, Jiang Zemin, as head of the Chinese Communist Party, overrode other Politburo standing committee members and launched the violent suppression of Falun Gong.

The persecution has led to the deaths of many Falun Gong practitioners in the past 16 years. More have been tortured for their belief and even killed for their organs. Jiang Zemin is directly responsible for the inception and continuation of the brutal persecution.

Under his personal direction, the Chinese Communist Party established an extralegal security organ, the 610 Office, on June 10, 1999. The organization overrides police forces and the judicial system in carrying out Jiang's directive regarding Falun Gong: to ruin their reputations, cut off their financial resources, and destroy them physically.

Chinese law allows for citizens to be plaintiffs in criminal cases, and many practitioners are now exercising that right to file criminal complaints against the former dictator.
