(Minghui.org) In filing criminal complaints against Jiang Zemin, a practitioner from Hubei Province enlightened that it is also part of our cultivation. This practitioner overcame fear in the process and advises fellow practitioners to take this matter seriously. She shares her thoughts below.

Overcoming Fear

Since the article calling on all practitioners to sue Jiang Zemin was published on the Minghui website, I knew the time had come in the Fa-rectification progress to bring the main perpetrator of the persecution to justice.

Xi Jinping's anti-corruption campaign came to a halt before Jiang was to be investigated, and I realized that this is a precious opportunity for Dafa disciples to establish our mighty virtue.

However, I thought I would wait a bit and see what Master was going to say. Sure enough, Master gave his affirmation at the 2015 New York Fa Conference.

I shared my thoughts with our local practitioners—"We must do what Master told us to do. The government's new policy that every case will be registered and every complaint will be processed could greatly benefit us. Even non-practitioners count on us to bring Jiang to justice."

However, it was easier said than done—my many attachments and fear were stopping me. My daughter is in college and will soon go to the United States as an exchange student on a government grant. If the Communist regime finds out about me being a practitioner, she could lose this opportunity. If that happens, everybody in the family will blame me.

I have long been wanting her to study abroad, especially in the States, because that's where Master is. Though she believes that Dafa is good, my daughter has been heavily influenced by Party culture. So I knew full well we owed this great opportunity to Dafa and Master. However, my attachments and fear got the best of me, and I decided to wait until my daughter had left the country to file my complaint against Jiang.

It wasn't until one of the local practitioners asked me to help file his complaint that I overcame my fear. We quickly prepared and filed our complaints through the mail. Our success inspired other practitioners to follow suit.

Take the Filing Process Seriously

When one practitioner asked me to help type out his complaint, I told him I needed a few days. I knew he was eager to mail it out, so I did my best to achieve a quick turnaround. When I finally had it all ready to go, he told me he had already mailed out the handwritten version.

“Why did you do that?” I asked him. “You crammed so much information in the limited space, and the handwriting was so messy. How could anyone at the Supreme People's Procuratorate read it? They probably won't even try to read it.”

His response stunned me—“I was afraid that it was going to take you too long. A few elderly practitioners had already mailed theirs, and I didn't want to wait anymore. Plus, the Procuratorate has received quite a few thousand complaints—they won't have time to read them all.”

He told me the other practitioners had just copied a few paragraphs from the sample complaint published on the Minghui website and mailed theirs out. I was speechless.

I said, “We are setting an example for others in suing Jiang. If we don't do a good job, then what will people think of Dafa disciples? We have to have a higher standard in everything that we do.”

I later found out that this practitioner and the elderly practitioners all put the wrong address on their envelopes and left the addressee's name blank on the mailing labels. Although they mailed their complaints in early July, the tracking information shows that their packages are being held at the Beijing Postal Express Sorting Center. They also failed to include copies of their complaints and didn't use a registered mail service.

No wonder the Ministry of State Security is interfering and holding up the mail—we have such a large loophole. If we really take it seriously and pay attention to details, the complaints will get to their destination much faster.

Two other local practitioners sent their complaints with all the correct information on the 13th of July. Their mail reached the Beijing Postal Express Sorting Center on the 15th and was received on the 17th.

As Dafa disciples, we need to do everything based on the Fa. If we don't, our loopholes will be exploited. Isn't it our own fault that caused the interference? We all have to have a righteous mind and cultivate solidly. Instead of simply going through the motions in suing Jiang and hoping to achieve consummation this way, let's take this matter seriously.
