(Minghui.org) Falun Gong practitioners in China have been talking to people about the practice and the persecution for many years. More often than not, people have willingly listened to them and have displayed a positive attitude towards practitioners and Falun Gong.

“What you said is truly wonderful,” a woman on a bus said to me. “I’ve heard that Falun Gong practitioners are great people. Now, I finally meet one in person!”

She told me that she is a Christian and that her pastor often mentions Falun Gong in his sermons. The pastor respects and admires practitioners, and says that they are kind, compassionate and courageous. He told his congregation that practitioners' words are profound and powerful.

“I truly feel that you practitioners are extraordinary,” she continued. “Falun Gong is truly wonderful!”

Sanhe City Residents Sign Petition for Release of Falun Gong Practitioners

Four Falun Gong practitioners, including Wang Zhanqing were twice illegally put on trial at the Sanhe Court in Hebei Province. Sanhe residents signed a petition calling for their release.

“Falun Gong is a personal belief,” one person said after signing the petition. “The Chinese Community Party (CCP) is wrong to persecute it.”

An elderly man signed the petition and said that it was indeed a good thing to try and get the practitioners released.

The owner of a store had a misunderstanding about Falun Gong and asked many questions. After learning how the CCP has deceived people with its lies and propaganda, she signed the petition.

“I now understand that Falun Gong practitioners are similar to those who cultivate in Buddhism, Taoism or other people who believe in God,” she said. “It's a personal belief and they are not involved in politics. They should not be persecuted.”

“The CCP is so bad. They target innocent people,” she continued. “I will sign the petition.” She also put her fingerprint on it and asked that her staff do the same.

After a Christian signed the petition he said that it is a good thing and that he is not afraid to sign it. People who sign petition forms calling for the release of Falun Gong practitioners have been known to be harassed and threatened by the authorities.
