(Minghui.org) The 103th annual Calgary Stampede, known as "The Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth" kicked off on July 3, 2015 with a grand parade. Falun Dafa practitioners participated in the parade and received two awards. Canadian Defense Minister Jason Kenney praised their performance calling out in Chinese,"Falun Dafa is great!"

The two-hour parade attracted over 350,000 spectators along the route and 2 million TV viewers.
The Falun Dafa entry featured the Divine Land Marching Band, “celestial maidens” team, a float on which practitioners demonstrated the Falun Dafa exercises and the waist drum team.
The Divine Land Marching Band has participated in the opening parade for the Calgary Stampede several times and has been warmly received and awarded each time. This year the band was awarded Best Senior Band and Best Canadian Band. The band gave additional performances after the parade.
