(Minghui.org) German practitioners held an event in front of Cologne Cathedral, the most visited landmark in Germany, on July 4 to tell passersby about the persecution of Falun Gong in China. Tourists from more than 20 countries learned about the human rights violations taking place in China, including live organ harvesting.

Students from a nursing school in Turkey were shocked by a reenactment of the live organ harvesting and came up to ask what had happened. A practitioner handed them fliers in Turkish and spoke in English about the 16-year-long persecution in China.
After the teacher translated the information into Turkish, they signed petitions calling for an end to the atrocity, and some began to learn the exercises.

A mother and her two sons from the Netherlands were so distressed by the posters showing the different forms of torture that they all signed the petition. The mother even filled out postcards that would be sent to two practitioners currently detained in China for their belief.
One Chinese couple had spoken with a practitioner several days earlier and taken some materials. At the cathedral that day, they asked another practitioner to help them quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations.
A Chinese tourist on his way to England was glad to run into Falun Gong in Germany. He chatted with a practitioner about everything from toxic baby formula to human rights violations and expressed his concern about the declining moral standards in China. He decided to quit the CCP.
It was a hot summer day--99ºF (37ºC), and police officers who walked by were impressed the practitioners' dedication. “You can move around to stay in the shade,” one said.“And please drink water to keep hydrated.”
