(Minghui.org) Elementary school teacher Ms. Qin Cuilian filed a criminal complaint against former Communist Party Leader Jiang Zemin. Due to Jiang's orders to “eradicate Falun Gong,” Ms. Qin was illegally arrested many times, force-fed a highly concentrated salt solution, held in a psychiatric hospital, injected with unknown drugs, and forced into homelessness. She sent her complaint to the Supreme Procuratorate and the Supreme Court.

Ms. Qin experienced a dramatic recovery from debilitating illnesses as a result of practicing Falun Gong, but her new-found hope for the future was shattered by relentless torture and abuse.

Life Renewed by Falun Gong

Ms. Qin Cuilian, 55, taught at Fuxin Railroad Elementary School. Before learning Falun Gong she had hypertension, kidney and heart problems, and bradycardia (slow heart rate) to the point that her heart was beating only 35 times a minute. She tried various treatments, but nothing seemed to help. Though her child was only 6 years old and needed her, she felt like she could not go on.

A friend told her about Falun Gong, and she went to the exercise site. Ms. Qin wrote, “I went to the site on an April morning in 1996. I followed along and learned the movements. I felt so good that, when I came home, I did not lay down as usual but did household chores. It felt amazing! I wanted to listen to Master's lecture that night, so my husband took me there by bike. After the lecture, I had the energy to walk home myself!

“Learning Dafa became an indispensable part of my life. Dafa changed my view of life, and I came to understand the meaning of life. I began following the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, being more considerate of others, striving to be a good person, a better person, and to be a true cultivator.”

Brutally Tortured for Her Belief

Jiang Zemin initiated the unprecedented persecution against Falun Dafa in 1999, and she has been brutally tortured numerous times in the last 16 years.

Ms. Qin recounted, “The guards grabbed me by the hair and banged my head against the wall repeatedly. They shocked me with electric batons. They chained me to a small iron ring on the ground and I could not stand or squat. They shocked me in a psychiatric hospital and injected me with unknown drugs.”

When she was held in Fuxin Detention Center, they forced-fed her with a highly concentrated salt solution, which caused chest pain, blurred vision, and body aches. She was so fatigued that she could not speak, and she lost 30 pounds in just few days. Her husband was devastated to see her in such condition. He said that she looked like a skeleton.

When she was held in a psychiatric hospital, she was tied to the bed and injected with unknown drugs. Afterward, she was totally incontinent and incapacitated. The shock treatment left her in an agonizing state in which her body felt lifeless.

She sent to Fushun Brainwashing Center in 2004 by officers from Jinzhou Railroad Substation. She was tortured for two weeks and nearly suffered another physical and mental collapse.

Pinganxibu Police Station attempted to fine her and her family 8,000 yuan in 2009. They went to her home and school looking for her. She had to leave home for at least 6 months.

“The suffering I have endured over the last 16 years is painful for me to recall,” explained Ms. Qin. “I hope my case will served as a wake-up call for the current government to stop persecuting Falun Gong and bring Jiang to justice!”

Background

In 1999, Jiang Zemin, as head of the Chinese Communist Party, overrode other Politburo standing committee members and launched the violent suppression of Falun Gong.

The persecution has led to the deaths of many Falun Gong practitioners over the past 16 years. More have been tortured for their belief and even killed for their organs. Jiang Zemin is directly responsible for the inception and continuation of the brutal persecution.

Under his personal direction, the Chinese Communist Party established an extralegal security organ, the 610 Office, on June 10, 1999. The organization overrides police forces and the judicial system in carrying out Jiang's directive regarding Falun Gong: to ruin their reputations, cut off their financial resources, and destroy them physically.

Chinese law allows for citizens to be plaintiffs in criminal cases, and many practitioners are now exercising that right to file criminal complaints against the former dictator.
