(Minghui.org) Close to 1,000 Falun Gong practitioners from different regions of Taiwan gathered at the National Feng-Hsin Senior High School in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, on June 6, 2015, to share their experiences of clarifying the facts about Falun Gong to Chinese tourists.

According to Mr. Bai, a coordinator of the truth-clarification work to Chinese tourists, about 9,000 people from mainland China visit Taiwan every day. They usually visit more than 30 tourist destinations. Practitioners go to these places and talk to them about Falun Gong and help them quit the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) organizations.

Encounters at Cihu Lake and Taoyuan Airport

Cihu Lake is a popular tourist spot. Ms. Xiuya has been talking to people about Falun Gong there for years.

She once met two elderly women from China who were fixated on their computer tablet. She approached them after about half an hour and said, “It's amazing! You two use the tablet better than the younger generation!”

They looked up and started to ask Ms. Xiuya questions about what she was doing. “How much do you earn for doing this? Does your family support you in what you are doing?” they asked.

“I have my own business,” Ms. Xiuya replied, “and very busy most of the time. But I find 3 hours every week to come here as a volunteer. My family are all supportive of what I do.

“If I know a disaster is coming, I can't keep it to myself, I have to hurry up and tell others. I hope all kind people a safe future. That's why I come here.”

Ms. Xiuya's sincere words seemed to touch the women, who listened to her detailed explanation of Falun Gong and decided to quit the CCP.

Ms. Xiuya spoke of another interesting encounter at Taoyuan International Airport. A Chinese lady approached her one day and asked, “Are you Falun Gong?”

“Yes,” she replied. The lady surreptitiously passed her a note. Ms. Xiuya unfolded it and read, “Two people would like to quit the CCP, and three want to quit the Youth League and Young Pioneers. All of us would like to use our real names.”

"I Can't Give Up"

Ms. Ruiji, a retired Taiwanese teacher, shared her experience of helping with the truth-clarification work in Hong Kong.

She got up early to do the exercises every day and went out to clarify the facts to Chinese tourists right after breakfast.

When she was talking to several tourists one cold winter day, someone from a nearby house threw eggs and water bombs at her. Ms. Ruiji has always been well respected by her students and their parents, and the sudden attack saddened her.

But then a thought came to her mind, “I must not give up this opportunity to tell Chinese tourists about Falun Dafa! I come for you, precious Chinese people! I can't give up because my pride is hurt.”

Ms. Ruiji went to a nearby public restroom to clean herself, before continuing with her truth-clarification work. She said, “The Chinese tourists I talked to must have felt my sincere compassion. I helped dozens of them quit the CCP organizations that day.”

Those Who Learn the Facts Choose to Quit the CCP

Ms. Huiyi has a full-time job and a large family to take care of. But she gets things done and volunteers to do truth-clarification work at Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall and Taipei 101 on her days off.

Talking to three elderly tourists from China, she said, “The Chinese Communist Party has committed so many crimes. Don't be part of it. It's important to quit the CCP organizations, so that you will have a safe future.”

The elderly man kept nodding, then whispered to Ms. Huiyi, “Use this nickname to quit for me...” The lady in the middle said, “Yes, help me to quit, too.” The other lady kept silent. Ms. Huiyi told her, “You are the one who decides your future. No one else can. If you can't decide now, seize the opportunity at the next tourist spot you visit!”

When Ms. Huiyi was about to leave, the man quickly stood up and whispered to the lady, “Let's quit together!” It turned out they were husband and wife. The lady nodded and said “Yes, please quit for me, too.”

Ms. Huiyi gave her a few aliases to choose from. The man borrowed Ms. Huiyi's pen, wrote down the aliases they were going to use, and put the note in his pocket.

Ms. Huiyi saw a young man who stopped his bike to read the display boards. After she talked to him, he decided to quit the CCP. Ms. Huiyi suggested that he use the alias “Zihao.” The young man looked at her with his eyes wide, “How did you know? That's my real name!”

Saying “Falun Dafa Is Great” Saved an Elderly Tourist's Life

Falun Gong practitioners welcomed Chinese tourists at Alishan Mountain with musical performances during the cherry blossom season. They played Falun Dafa music on a violin, Erhu, or accordion in front of their display boards. Many tourists stopped to get more information about Falun Gong.

One time, an elderly man from China had altitude sickness and was having a hard time breathing. It would take a long time to get him down the mountain to a hospital. A Falun Gong practitioner told him to repeat the words, “Falun Dafa is good.”

After telling him a few times, he started to say, “Falun Dafa is good!” His voice was weak and unclear at first but became stronger and clearer as he repeated the words. The color came back to his face.

The man personally experienced the power of Dafa. He quit the CCP and respectfully wrote down “Falun Dafa is good” on a piece of paper.

He repeatedly thanked the practitioner, who told him, “You should thank our teacher.” The man said he would take the blessing of Falun Gong practitioners to the mainland and spread the message to more people.
