People Cherish Shen Yun DVDs
(Minghui.org) I once gave a Shen Yun Performing Arts DVD to the owner of a store. I had already clarified the facts about Falun Dafa and the persecution to her. She was glad to get the DVD, said that she cherished it, and wanted to pay for it.
I told her that Falun Dafa practitioners pay to make the DVDs out of our own pockets, but that we cannot accept payment. She insisted on paying me 5 yuan. I explained that Master Li has asked practitioners not to accept payment for Falun Dafa materials or activities. But I did ask her to pass the DVD on to her friends and relatives after she watched it, so that they could also benefit.
I then bought some food and she offered me a discount, but I did not accept it.
After leaving the store I thought that if a non-practitioner could be so respectful of a Shen Yun DVD, practitioners should truly do better in respecting Master and the Fa. Master has done everything for us, given us everything, and endured everything for us.
Delighted to Get a Shen Yun DVD
I saw a peddler selling walnuts in the square one day, and talked to him. He was a teacher and spoke very cautiously. When I talked about the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) he listened carefully.
I said the CCP's violence and lies had caused the deaths of 80 million Chinese since it began ruling China. I also talked about the Tiananmen Square massacre and the persecution of Falun Dafa, including live organ harvesting. I told him that Jiang Zemin and his minions had committed untold crimes against Falun Dafa, and that they were starting to be punished.
He agreed, and said that those were facts that he had not dared to bring out in the open. He told me to be careful. I asked him to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations, which he did.
I handed him a copy of a Shen Yun DVD and a Falun Dafa amulet. It turned out he had seen someone holding a Shen Yun DVD but wasn't able to get one. He thanked me, and we arranged for a time when we could meet again.
I later met a girl distributing advertising flyers. She told me that she was a college student, and that it was a part time job. I asked if she had joined the CCP, and she said she was trying to. I discouraged her and she thanked me.
I gave her a Shen Yun DVD and told her that it brings to the stage 5,000 years of Chinese culture, but that unfortunately, Shen Yun could not yet perform in China. She quit the Youth League, an organization affiliated with the CCP.
There are so many people who want the Shen Yun DVD, but cannot find one. We practitioners must step up our efforts and make sure every person in China gets the Shen Yun DVD.
