(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 7 cities or counties in 6 provinces. According to this report at least 18 Falun Gong practitioners were illegally arrested.
1. [Jinchang City, Gansu Province] Five Practitioners Arrested
2. [Beijing] Ms. Dong Shugui Arrested
3. [Beijing] Ms. Wang Lianqun Arrested
4. [Shuangliu County, Sichuan Province] Mr. Wei Zaihui Arrested
5. [Zunyi County, Guizhou Province] Ms. Chen Jiarong Arrested
6. [Shaoxing City, Zhejiang Province] Two Practitioners and Four Family Members Arrested
7. [Benxi City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Ge Yanying and Mr. Chen Yan Detained
8. [Huantai County, Shandong Province] Mr. Ma Fujian Detained
1. [Jinchang City, Gansu Province] Five Practitioners Arrested
Mr. Fan Yongcheng, Ms. Wang Zefang, Ms. Wang Yongfang were arrested by officers from the Beijing Road Police Station in the Jinchuan District on May 30, 2015. They were at a post office mailing out documents to prosecute former Chinese leader Jiang Zemin.
Mr. Wang Yukang and his son Mr. Wang Lifeng were arrested and taken to the Jinchuan Road Police Station. They were at a post office mailing out documents to charge Jiang Zemin.
Mr. Wang Yukang and Mr. Fan Yongcheng have returned home. Ms. Wang Zefang and Ms. Wang Yongfang were held for 15 days of detention. Mr. Wang Lifeng's status is being verified.
2. [Beijing] Ms. Dong Shugui Arrested
Ms. Dong Shugui, 61, was arrested by officers from the Huajiadi Police Station on May 24, 2015.
3. [Beijing] Ms. Wang Lianqun Arrested
Ms. Wang Lianqun was arrested when she was telling people about Falun Gong on May 28, 2015. The police ransacked her home.
4. [Shuangliu County, Sichuan Province] Mr. Wei Zaihui Arrested
Mr. Wei Zaihui was arrested on May 28, 2015. His home was ransacked.
5. [Zunyi County, Guizhou Province] Ms. Chen Jiarong Arrested
Ms. Chen Jiarong from Nanbai Town was arrested at home on May 24, 2015. The police ransacked her home.
6. [Shaoxing City, Zhejiang Province] Two Practitioners and Four Family Members Arrested
Officers from the Gaoxin District Police Department's Public Security Squad broke into Ms. Liu Yanxiang's home on the evening of May 28, 2015. They arrested Ms. Liu Yanxiang (62 years old), Mr. Li Hongyan (28 years old), Ms. Liu Lili (related to Mr. Li), Mr. Hu Luoliang, Ms. Li Jing and Ms. Li Ling. Ms. Liu was released the following day.
The police ransacked the homes of Ms. Liu Yanxiang and Mr. Li Hongyan. They seized a car, a notebook computer, a printer, several bank cards, and cash.
7. [Benxi City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Ge Yanying and Mr. Chen Yan Detained
Ms. Ge Yanying and Mr. Chen Yan, both in their 30s, were arrested by officers from the Hedong Police Station when they were telling people about Falun Gong on May 23, 2015. Both practitioners are being held in the Benxi City Detention Center.
8. [Huantai County, Shandong Province] Mr. Ma Fujian Detained
Pang Yunfeng, head of Domestic Security Division went to Mr. Ma Fujian's home to deliver a notice about Mr. Ma's arrest on May 28, 2015.
Mr. Ma was arrested on May 1, 2015 for distributing informational materials about Falun Gong. He has been held in the Huantai County Detention Center where he was subjected to the “death bed torture” for four days and force-fed because he could not eat and drink.
His wife visited him on May 26, 2015. He was very weak and unable to speak.
