(Minghui.org) Ms. Xi Kunying from Baoding City has been detained for seven months, because she believes in Falun Gong. Authorities are denying her family visits.
Ms. Xi's family was not notified when she was secretly tried on December 9, 2014. Officials have neither updated her family about her condition nor told them the verdict.
The Arrest
Ms. Xi and another Falun Gong practitioner were reported and illegally arrested on September 25, 2014, when they were distributing informational brochures about Falun Gong. Their homes were ransacked, and Ms. Xi was sent to the Baoding Detention Center that night.
True Health
When she was in her thirties, Ms. Xi, who is now 51, suffered from bile reflux gastritis. Her stomach was filled with lumps, which caused extreme pain. She recovered three months after she began practicing Falun Gong.
Despite the threat of harassment, arrest, and torture, Ms. Xi has worked hard to tell people about the goodness of Falun Gong, and how it is being unjustly persecuted by the ruling regime.
