(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 14 cities or counties in 8 provinces. According to this report, 12 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 25 practitioners were illegally arrested.

1. [Shan County, Shandong Province] Ms. Wang Yuhuan Arrested

Ms. Wang Yuhuan, in her sixties, was arrested on the afternoon of May 14, 2015.

2. [Xinyang City, Henan Province] Mr. Zhou Weijun and His Wife Detained

Mr. Zhou Weijun and his wife were arrested at home on the afternoon of May 20, 2015. They are currently being detained at the Wuxing Town Police Station.

3. [Zhucheng City, Shandong Province] Eight Practitioners Arrested

Eight practitioners were arrested on April 24, 2015, for hanging up banners with information about the persecution of Falun Gong. The practitioners include Mr. Zhou Congbo, 55; Ms. Chen Lian, 35; Ms. Wang Huanxiu, 45; Ms. Lin Lianghua, 52; Mr. Chi Lingxin, 55; Ms. Chen Weifeng, 48; and Ms. Yuan Fenmei, 50.

4. [Taian City, Shandong Province] Ms. Liang Huimin’s Whereabouts Unknown

Ms. Liang Huimin, 50, was arrested on May 16, 2015, for distributing informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong. The police ransacked her home. Her whereabouts are unknown.

5. [Dunhua City, Jilin Province] Ms. Zhang Chunhui Detained

Ms. Zhang Chunhui was arrested by officers from the Dunhua City Police Department on the afternoon of May 18, 2015, for distributing informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong. She is being detained at that police department.

Ms. Zhu Guilan was arrested on May 6, 2015, by officers from the Ji County 610 Office and Domestic Security Division, and the Yanliu Town Police Station.

9. [Dongning County, Heilongjiang Province] Whereabouts of Ms. Sun Weili and Ms. Li Unknown

Ms. Sun Weili and Ms. Li were arrested by officers from the Dongning No. 2 Police Station at noon on May 20, 2015. Their whereabouts are unknown.

10. [Zunhua City, Hebei Province] Five Practitioners Detained

Mr. Li Guosheng, Mr. Sui Jinming, Mr. Li Youzhi, Mr. Wang Jian, and Ms. Sheng Jinling were arrested by officers from the Gushanzi Police Station on the evening of May 13, 2015, for posting informational stickers about the persecution of Falun Gong. They are being detained at the Xinglong County Detention Center.

11. [Jilin City, Jilin Province] Ms. Cao Guiqin Arrested

Ms. Cao Guiqin was arrested by officers from the Nancheng Police Station on the morning of May 18, 2015, for filing a criminal indictment against Jiang Zemin. She was released that day.

12. [Shulan City, Jilin Province] Three Practitioners Detained

Ms. Sun Yanping, Ms. Tao Shuqing, and Ms. Yang were arrested by officers from the Nancheng Police Station on May 18, 2015, after filing a criminal indictment against Jiang Zemin. They are to be detained for 15 days.

Mr. Dai Kaiye and his wife Ms. Liu Yuanfeng were arrested at home on May 15, 2015. They are being detained at a detention center.

15. [Baoji City, Shaanxi Province] Ms. Wen Chunxia Detained

Ms. Wen Chunxia was arrested by officers from the Jiangtanlu Police Station on the afternoon of May 19, 2015, for talking to people about the persecution of Falun Gong. She is being detained at that police station.

16. [Jinchang City, Gansu Province] Seven Practitioners Sentenced

Seven practitioners from Jinchang City were sentenced, including Mr. Chen Xu to four years in prison, Mr. Lu Jun to five years, Ms. Yu Chenghong, 4 years; Ms. Liu Zhiping, 3 years; Ms. Wang Shushen, 3.5 years; Ms. Li Dexiang, 5.5 years; and Ms. Huang Xinlan to 3 years of probation.
