(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa practitioners in China have dedicated much of their time to tell people about Dafa and the unprecedented persecution of the practice. Therefore, an increasing number of people support and help practitioners in many ways, such as telling people about the goodness of Dafa and helping practitioners escape arrest. Most importantly, Chinese people seek out practitioners because they want to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliates.
Practitioners Are One Family
When I was out of town, a man offered me a ride back to town. I saw this as a great opportunity to talk about Dafa and the ongoing persecution.
To start the conversation I brought up the issue of age and he was surprised that I did not look my age. This gave me an in to what I wanted to talk about. I told him that I looked younger because I practiced Falun Dafa. He looked at me with his eyes wide open and said, “So does my daughter-in-law. You are one family with the same Master.” Practitioner of Dafa call the founder of the practice Master or Teacher.
We talked about the practice and he seemed to know a lot about Dafa and the persecution. He was very proud of his daughter-in-law and upset about the persecution she suffered.
I asked why he did not practice Dafa since he knew about the benefits of the practice. He shook his head and said that he could not quit smoking, drinking and gambling. But, he told me that he helped practitioners clarify the facts about Dafa.
I gave him thumbs up and told him that he would be blessed. I also said that he would one day pick up the practice. He smiled and said that many people had told him so.
When I got out of his car, he gave me his contact information and said, “You know where to find me if any practitioner needs help. Falun Dafa practitioners are one family with one Master.”
DVDs Help People Understand the Facts
Zouyu and I are long-time friends. After the onset of the persecution of Dafa, he thought I was telling tall tales when I told him about how the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) staged the Tiananmen self-immolation incident to defame Falun Dafa.
One day he rushed to my apartment to tell me that he finally understood everything. He found a DVD in his bicycle basket which detailed the flaws in the self-immolation incident. He said, “There were so many flaws. The CCP does evil things far worse than I could ever have imagined.” He was very upset because he was deceived by the CCP's propaganda. He told everyone he knew that he was deceived by the CCP and wanted everyone to understand the facts.
After he read the book Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, he was shaking as he spoke of the atrocities committed by the CCP, “Isn't this terrible? It's demonic.”
Zouyu told me that his friends helped practitioners and that our friends were worried about me. He also spoke of the people who quit the CCP and that many people are now using software to bypass the firewall and read about Falun Dafa on overseas websites, even at work. This showed me that he is actively involved in spreading the facts about Dafa.
Zouyu and his wife Lan invited several of us for dinner. Zouyu used this opportunity to talk about the persecution of Falun Dafa. Guests Li and her husband were Chinese government employees, and he wanted them to understand the facts about the persecution and quit the CCP.
Li and her husband refused to quit the CCP because they both benefit from it. Then, Li talked about how her father was persecuted during the Cultural Revolution and that she knew how evil the CCP was, precisely because she worked for it. She said that she wasn't afraid of the CCP. That's why she was not worried when she visited me when I was imprisoned for refusing to give up Dafa.
Before we went home, I gave Li and her husband some Falun Dafa literature. Zouyu also wanted these materials, but I gave him DVDs, because I knew that he and his wife would produce more and distribute them.
Searching for Help to Quit the CCP
A practitioner and I met a young woman who asked us for directions. The practitioner offered to walk with her because she was going to take the same bus.
We asked the woman if she knew about the trend of quitting the CCP. Her eyes lit up and she asked us if we knew how to quit the CCP.
As we nodded, she said, “I finally found you! My father has been anxious because he wants to quit the CCP … He curses the CCP everyday and tells us how evil it is and that he has to quit it. Can you help him?”
She also said that her mother wanted to quit and gave us her parents' real names. She had joined the Youth League and Young Pioneers and agreed to quit with her real name.
Upon leaving she said, “Please remember the names. I was so fortunate to run into you today. Thank you!”
