(Minghui.org) A 37-year-old man from Wuhan, Hubei Province went missing on March 9, 2015, after he went out to distribute information exposing the persecution of Falun Gong, a spiritual practice being persecuted by the Chinese Communist Party.

Mr. Wang Jinping's parents looked everywhere for him, to no avail. His sister called Wuhan police stations to inquire about him, but they all denied knowledge of his whereabouts.

Mr. Wang's sister went to Wuhan from her home in Zhejiang Province on March 29, to help search for her brother. She received a phone call from a police officer that night telling her that Mr. Wang had been detained at the Hanyang County Police Department since his arrest 20 days prior.

The caller informed Mr. Wang's sister that he had become mentally disoriented, and they planned to release him in one and a half hours. As she got ready to pick him up at a bus stop, as instructed by the police, she received a second call notifying her that the plan was canceled.

Mr. Wang's family rushed to the detention center the next morning, but they weren't allowed to see him as promised. They eventually found out that Mr. Wang had been taken to the Caidian Brainwashing Center.

The family suspects that Mr. Wang may have been given some kind of mind-altering drug that caused a mental collapse within just 20 days of his arrest. They are extremely concerned about his well-being.
