(Minghui.org) A letter petitioning the Chinese government to hold a public trial of former Chinese Communist Party leader Jiang Zemin has received support from residents of Shandong Province.
The open letter states:
“Jiang Zemin rose to the peak of political power by ordering the Tiananmen Square Massacre on June 4, 1989 that killed many protesting students. He also persecuted Falun Gong, a peaceful group of people who believe in Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. He also initiated a program to harvest the organs of living Falun Gong practitioners, an evil never before seen on this planet.”
The letter was drafted by Falun Gong practitioners and has received support from 850 residents who signed their names and added their fingerprints.
