(Minghui.org) It is no longer a surprise when people in China help promote the truth about Falun Gong.
However, the following two stories are of notable worth.
Not Taking 'No' for an Answer
A practitioner was distributing flyers about Falun Gong in Shijiazhuang, Hebei, when he began to talk to an older gentleman. This man asked the practitioner how they can afford to print the materials they distribute. The practitioner explained that it was the practitioners themselves that funded their materials.
The gentleman took out his wallet and pulled out all his cash. He tried to hand the money to the practitioner, explaining that he wanted to help with the costs. The practitioner said that Falun Gong practitioners do not accept donations, but the gentleman would not take “no” for an answer and tossed the money in the practitioner's bike basket as he walked away.
The practitioner later counted the bills, of which there was more than 1,000 yuan.
A Villager Distributes Booklets
Two practitioners from Changli County, Hebei, went to a village to distribute Falun Gong materials in September 2014. In one household they talked to a woman about Falun Gong, the persecution, and the movement to withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). The woman understood, and she was happy to withdraw from the CCP.
On their way home, the practitioners realized they left a bag of Falun Gong booklets at the woman's home. When they returned for it two days later, the woman's husband answered the door. He told the practitioners that after he read the booklets, he realized they were meant to be distributed to others so that they could learn the truth. Therefore, he took the bag through the village and handed them out.
The man said he knows that Falun Gong practitioners are all good people, and that what is written in the materials is all the truth. “Behind the propaganda,” he said, “the party is corrupt inside-out.”
The practitioners asked him if he was a CCP party member. He said that he was but had not paid party fees for many years. They helped him make an announcement to withdraw online. He also threw out a portrait of Mao Zedong that was hanging on his wall.
