On the day that she was to get married, most of the roads in town were damaged by flood. To make sure that the wedding would be held as scheduled, the girl and her mother, uncle, and cousin left early on two motorcycles. They headed to the town where her future husband and in-laws lived.
As they were crossing a bridge, a sudden tide of water surged up and knocked them into the river.
The girl's uncle and cousin managed to hold on to an overhanging tree, but the mother and daughter were washed downstream.
The girl tried her best to hold on and support her mother, but they were separated by the strong current and soon the mother disappeared. The girl screamed at the top of her lungs and cried hysterically. Her strength faded, and she sank into the water as well.
As the girl was submerged, she suddenly remembered the amulet that I had given her, and remembered “Falun Dafa is good.” Before she lost consciousness, she felt herself standing up and being gently pushed forward by the waves. She did not remember anything after that.
She did not know how long she was unconscious, but when she woke up, she discovered that she was leaning against a big tree in the middle of the water. “How did I make it over here?” she asked herself.
She later realized that Dafa had saved her life, and thinks back to that day with gratitude.
