(Minghui.org) I was diagnosed with terminal cancer before I began practicing Falun Gong. I looked everywhere for a cure, and I tried both Western and Chinese treatments. However, my condition only deteriorated.
A co-worker introduced me to Falun Gong in April 1996. I was hesitant, and said, “I have tried many types of qigong to improve my health, but nothing helped, and I even developed cancer.”
My co-worker understood my concerns and pointed out the fundamental differences between Falun Gong and other forms of qigong. She told me that Falun Gong was an advanced-level cultivation practice that requires people to act according to Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. She suggested that I read Zhuan Falun.
I was still hesitant and asked if I could only read the book without doing the exercises. She said that I could.
Within only two weeks of practicing Falun Gong, Master purified my body. I did not take any pills or spend a single penny on medication. I became healthy and disease-free. For the first time in my life, I had no illnesses. I really felt the power of Dafa.
Marvelous Cultivation
I was on my way home one afternoon in 2010. It had snowed the day before, and it was hard to travel because of the icy roads. I had to walk over the mountains to get home.
I entered a mountain village, where the roads leading outside the village had been plowed. I walked a little further down the hill and saw a tractor parked on the road, with several people standing around it.
One person was attempting to start the engine, and several others were trying to push it, but the tractor wouldn't move. I went over and saw it was icy under the tractor because water was dripping from the cooling system. It was very cold, and no one knew how long it would take to get the tractor moving.
I thought that as a Falun Gong practitioner, anything that happened around me was not accidental, and as long as I firmly believed in Master and Dafa, I could help them.
With that thought, I put my hands on the tractor and asked Master for help. The tractor started moving forward and passed the icy spot. The driver smiled and said we could stop pushing. He drove the tractor away.
People walked over and looked at me curiously. I said to them, “It wasn’t me. It was Master who helped.”
“Please remember that Falun Dafa is good!” I said. One man turned to the others and yelled out, “Falun Dafa is good!”
I was very pleased by what happened. Seeing one person still standing there, I went over to him. I repeated what I had said. He asked if I practiced.
“Yes. I do,” I said. “Falun Gong gave me a second life. I would be dead now if I had not practiced Falun Gong. I recovered from terminal cancer after I began practicing.”
He was curious, so I continued.
“Falun Gong is the Buddha Fa, which has unlimited power. By the way, did you know that people are quitting the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its associated organizations to have a better life?”
He said he had not quit.
After giving him an alias, he was more than happy to quit.
The entire situation was more proof of how, when practitioners have true faith, they can experience many marvelous encounters.
