(Minghui.org) A bad flu was spreading quickly among the detainees in the detention center. I told everyone around me about the persecution of Falun Gong (aka Falun Dafa) and encouraged them to recite “Falun Dafa is good,” and “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” Those who began to sincerely recite these two phrases quickly recovered. The detainees in other cells also learned to recite the phrases and their symptoms disappeared, too.
I have witnessed many miracles that happened to those who believed in the power and goodness of Falun Dafa. I would like to share a story from when I was illegally imprisoned in a detention center in 2009.
A new detainee, a former high ranking official, was put in our cell. As soon as he learned that I was a Falun Gong practitioner, he pushed me away, saying, “Go away and leave me alone. Falun Gong is contagious and I don’t want to be infected.”
He approached me a few days later, however, and said that he had been observing me and noticed that I never used bad words, and behaved honorably. I told him that Falun Gong practitioners were good and noble people. He said, “Prior to this, I was locked up while undergoing investigation. The windows and door of the room were all sealed, and I was baked under high voltage light bulbs around the clock. I was forbidden to fall asleep unless I confessed. Now, since I've been locked up here, I haven't been able to fall sleep at all. With high blood pressure, and now the flu, I feel extremely miserable.”
I asked, “Have you heard that reciting ‘Falun Dafa is good. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good,’ can help you?” He said that he had heard about it, but did not believe it. I explained, “Falun Dafa is an ancient spiritual discipline from the Buddha school. You will be blessed if you can acknowledge the truth while Dafa is being slandered by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).”
I added, “Over 80 million Chinese have been killed by the CCP under its rule. Now the CCP is targeting Falun Gong for persecution, and many practitioners have been tortured to death while unlawfully imprisoned. Even more appalling is that living Falun Gong practitioners’ organs have been removed in government-run hospitals throughout China and sold for huge profit. The CCP will be eliminated by Heaven, and those who have joined the CCP and its affiliated associations are in danger of being dragged down with it. One should withdraw from the CCP to protect one's future.”
He told me that he had aged out of the Young Pioneers and Youth League, and had been expelled from the CCP. I explained to him that when he joined the CCP and its affiliated organizations, he vowed in front of the CCP flag that he would give his life to the CCP, therefore, he still needed to officially declare his withdrawal. He agreed. He also began to sincerely recite, “Falun Dafa is good. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.”
He told me a few days later that he no longer had trouble sleeping at night. He was released a few days after that.
