(Minghui.org) I have practiced Falun Dafa for 14 years and have stumbled many times. Master's lecture during the 2015 West Coast Fa Conference in Los Angeles helped many practitioners awaken and feel the urgency to cultivate and save people. I am one of those who did not wake up and do the three things well until recently. I would like to share some understandings on cleaning out my own dimensional field.
Completely Cleaning Out My Own Dimensional Field
Master said,
“I have told you previously that whether or not a Dafa disciple cultivates well determines his power to save sentient beings as well as his ability to be successful in fully cooperating, here in the human world, with the Fa-rectification.” (“20th Anniversary Fa Teaching”)
“So, in your cultivation, you not only need to reach levels in different realms and return to your nature, but you should also get rid of the things you’ve been contaminated with at different times, at different levels, and in different realms—you have to eliminate all of those things. What I want to give you is the ability to reach the purest realm since the creation of Heaven and Earth.” (Teaching the Fa at the Eastern U.S. Fa Conference)
When we send forth righteous thoughts to eliminate the evil, we should also clean out our own dimensional fields. I could physically feel the difference after doing this.
One day, after I extended the length of time for sending righteous thoughts, I heard a practitioner sharing his understanding with others, “Sending forth righteous thoughts without cleaning out one's own dimensional field is being irresponsible to one's cultivation as well as to Dafa.” I realized that Master wanted me to hear this. From then on, whenever I send righteous thoughts, I first clean my own dimensional field and eliminate the many degenerate things that the old forces had placed in my dimensional field.
Master said,
“Were every Dafa disciple able to achieve this, the entire world would change, since each of you assumes responsibility for a large expanse in this world and represents a certain segment of sentient beings. I often tell you to cultivate inward and to search within yourselves when problems arise. When you clear yourselves at the time of sending righteous thoughts, that is meant to purify and rectify your thinking as well as clean up what is your own share, the domain that you are responsible for.” (“Fa Teaching Given at the Epoch Times Meeting”)
By intensively cleaning out my dimensional field, I have come to understand the profound meaning of Master's most recent Fa truths. One day when I sent righteous thoughts, I saw several black flags being removed from flagpoles, as well as two hands breaking the flagpoles into halves and throwing them into an abyss. I realized that the evil elements the old forces placed in my dimensional field were eliminated and completely cleared out.
From then on, my cultivation state and the projects I work on have undergone fundamental changes, as well.
Digging Inside and Eliminating Degenerate Things
In the process of cleaning out my dimensional field, I enlightened that, besides eliminating the evil and saving sentient beings, the reason Master gave us the divine power of sending forth righteous thoughts is to also help us break out of the old forces' arrangements. The depth of our righteous thoughts depends on our solid faith in Master and the Fa, and how firmly we negate the old forces.
When we send forth righteous thoughts, we can target the degenerate things that interfere with our studying the Fa and practicing the exercises, as well as our attachments to ease and comfort, fear, and being indifferent about saving people. To eliminate the interference that hindered me from getting up early to do the exercises for years, I extended sending forth righteous thoughts and have cut the time I sleep in half.
After cultivating for so many years, I sometimes felt that my heart was not as pure and joyful as it was in the beginning, and that I lacked the urgency to save people.
Master warned us,
“You must cultivate your mind—work hard on your own mind—and find your own weaknesses and shortcomings and then eradicate them. You will never be able to Consummate if your xinxing doesn’t meet the criteria. So why not work hard on cultivating your mind? Why not work hard on yourself?” (Teaching the Fa at the Conference in Singapore)
I looked further within and saw many bad things in me. I dug deeper, layer by layer, and found that the sentiment that I thought I had let go of a long time ago was still there. During a large group exercise, I saw Master giving me a golden key. I used the key to unlock my heart and let go of all the bad things inside me and let in the light.
“Encircling and suppressing the evil in other dimensions”
When I joined the global telephone team to make rescue phone calls to China, I was unable to dial the numbers to police stations or courts at first, and I had to send forth righteous thoughts for a long time to eliminate the fear inside me. If I did not make phone calls for a long time, the fear would resurface. It was a substance like a small beast.
As I persisted in digging inside, I found that fear is rooted in all the impure substances, including attachments to ease and comfort, pride, saving face, indifference, sentimentality, and inferiority. But its deepest root is selfishness. If our heart is full of compassion and we wish to save people without any selfish thoughts, then fear would not have been let in.
In other dimensions, every phone call made to China to save people is a battle. The first time I dialed the number for a 610 Office, when I sent forth righteous thoughts I saw a group of people kneeling in front of us, begging for us to save them.
The second time I dialed a 610 Office phone number, the person on the other end repeatedly hung up. Finally, he very quietly said, “Talk,” and silently listened, as if he were very interested in hearing what I had to say. After I finished talking and hung up, I suddenly felt his fear of having no way out.
This was the second time I could feel how hopeless the people who work in these institutions feel. The first time was when the mass movement of filing criminal complaints against Jiang had just begun. That day, when I dialed the number for a police department and finished clarifying the facts, the person on the other end talked about how he felt sad and abandoned. I realized how urgent it is to save people.
Because many practitioners were recently arrested in China for filing criminal complaints against Jiang, the phone team is working overtime. One day, we were making phone calls about a specific case in Liaoning Province. When fellow practitioners were speaking, I felt they were constantly emitting compassionate energy. When all of us were on the phone clarifying the facts, we were encircling and suppressing the evil in other dimensions.
With practitioners' compassionate voices resounding throughout the universe, we were fighting the evil using various Fa instruments. The battle was very thrilling, and I was moved to tears. For the first time, I understood the deeper meaning of our making phone calls.
Master told us,
“People think that it’s Falun Gong that is being persecuted, when in fact it is the world’s people who are the victims.” (“Fa Teaching Given at the 2010 New York Fa Conference”)
Those Who Were Deceived and Persecute Disciples Are the Worst Victims
In my understanding, the worst victims of the persecution are those who have been deceived and persecute Dafa disciples. As Dafa disciples, we have nothing to fear. On the contrary, it is the police officers and court officials who need our help. This is the last moment of saving sentient beings, and also the best opportunity to save them.
During Fa-rectification, Master has given us the very best and has been waiting. In the lecture given in Los Angeles, there are no human words to describe the urgency Master is trying to express.
While writing this article, I have understood this part of the meaning of the Fa,
“When disciples have ample righteous thoughtsMaster has the power to turn back the tide”(“The Master-Disciple Bond” in Hong Yin Vol. II)
I have felt Master's boundless power and enormous effort, as well as his high expectations for Dafa disciples. Let's advance diligently in these last moments, save more people, and help one another.
