(Minghui.org) Chinese people believe that “Good would be rewarded with good, while doing evil would be met with retribution.” Since Falun Dafa's spread throughout the world, many people have benefited because of their support for Dafa and experienced good fortune.
However, there were those that maligned and persecuted Dafa. They faced misery, afflictions, tribulations, and even death.

5. Recovered After Reciting “Falun Dafa Is Good”
In a village at the border of Liaoning and Hebei Province lives Chengfu and Guiqin, a 76-year-old couple.
Chengfu broke his ankle a few years ago, needed crutches to move about, and could not take care of himself.
A Falun Dafa practitioner told the couple, “If you sincerely recite the two sentences 'Falun Dafa is Good. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.' You will benefit and live a better life.”
Chengfu was deeply deceived by the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) lies and did not believe it. When Guiqin fell ill too, the couple was bed-ridden.
In desperation, Guiqin remembered what the practitioner had told them and begged Teacher Li Hongzhi, the founder of Dafa, for help: “Please save these two miserable souls!” She began to recite the two sentences nonstop. Soon she could get out of bed. She was moved to tears and repeatedly thanked Teacher Li.
Chengfu witnessed the changes in his wife and was convinced that Dafa was not what he had believed. He admitted his mistakes to Teacher Li. “It was my fault to have ignored the truth and believed the lies,” he said. He also began to recite the two sentences.
He could get out of bed after three days, and a few days later he no longer needed the crutches. He also could do all kinds of work around his field as he used to do.
6. Hearing Restored after 30 Years of Deafness
Shuying is 73 years old. She lives in the Township of Xinglongshan in Lingyuan City. She lost her hearing when she was about 40 years old.
Fengxian, her daughter-in-law, practices Dafa, and she wanted her mother-in-law to practice Dafa, too; however, the latter could not hear the exercise music to do the exercises. Therefore, she told Shuying to sincerely recite, “Falun Dafa is Good. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance are Good.”
Shuying recited the two sentences nonstop and sometimes quite loudly. In this way, Shuying's hearing was gradually restored within two months.
“I thought I would die deaf,” she now tells everyone. “I never dreamed that chanting 'Falun Dafa is Good. Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good' could bring back my hearing. Where can you find such a great Fa? How could I repay Master Li?”
7. Protected by Dafa Because Wife Practices Dafa
Qiushan, in his 50s, is from the Daoerdeng Township in Lingyuan City. His mother died on January 5, 2008, and the next day, he held his mother's urn on his lap on his way home. He lost control of the car and slammed into a big tree. The windshield was shattered and Qiushan was thrown over a dozen meters.
He got up and found he was not hurt, though still holding his mother's urn in his hands.
“You are blessed! Your family must have great virtue, otherwise there would have been another death in your family,” said the onlookers.
He told everyone, “My wife practices Falun Dafa. Even though I do not practice, Dafa protects me too!”
8. Different Choices, Different Outcomes
In the Wanyuandian Township, Lingyuan City, two thought-provoking incidents happened.
Han Shusheng was the branch party head of the village when the CCP started persecuting Falun Dafa in July 1999. With the non-stop television programs that slandered Dafa every day, Han believed the lies and participated in the persecution of practitioners.
There were more than 10 practitioners in the village, and Han demanded that they sign statements renouncing Dafa. When they refused, he reported them to the police, who either arrested, detained, or harassed the practitioners.
Han also arranged for several people to stay in practitioners' homes, and that they be provided food and drink. He rode his motorcycle around the village and shouted practitioners' names. He demanded that practitioners answer or he would claim that they had gone to Beijing to appeal for Falun Dafa, and that he would report them to the police.
Practitioner Ms. Guilan was arrested by the police and beaten until she went into a coma at the police station. The police poured cold water on her face and continued to beat her. Before they released her, they extorted 7,000 yuan from her family. After this, the villagers were very angry with Han.
A fortuneteller came to the village in August 2007. Han asked him how many years he would be an officer and how long he would live. The fortune teller looked at him and said that he would die an officer and left. Han, not even 50 years old, had a motorcycle accident the next day and died.
Li Guang, also from the same village, took over Han's position. When practitioners clarified the facts to him, he was very respectful and listened carefully. He also read the Dafa materials carefully.
When the police and 610 Office personnel came to the village, Li told them what the knew. “Falun Dafa has nothing to do with the troubles that happened in this village,” he said. “They are the best people. Do not come to harass or arrest practitioners again. You are not welcome.” The officials left and never came back.
Li lost control of his car and drove into a ditch in May 2010. When he climbed out of the car, he realized he was intact and the car was fine. He found it inconceivable and asked a practitioner about this.
The practitioner told him, “You have been blessed because you have understood the truth of Dafa and protected Dafa disciples.” Li immediately folded his hands in front of his chest and thanked the Dafa's Teacher for saving his life.
“I will try my best to protect practitioners, so they will not be harmed,” he said.
9. Nothing Is Coincidental
Zhao Fu, 41, lives in the Sanshijiazi Township. He told me about an incident that is still fresh in my mind.
Zhao and eight people rented a truck to pick up goods on April 26, 2008. Zhao sat in the back of the truck because of the tight space up front.
When going uphill, a large oil tank in front of them suddenly detached from the engine and came downhill at a high speed. The oil tank collided with Zhao's truck, killing all people in the front of the truck. He was thrown out of the vehicle.
“Do you know why I was so lucky?” he asked. “It's because I have understood the facts about Dafa and the persecution. I read every single truth-clarification pamphlet that I came across. I read that people would be saved after they quit the CCP. I believed it, so I quit. It was Dafa that saved my life in that accident.” He took out his Dafa amulet to show me.
In fact, nothing is coincidental, and everything happens for a reason. In this case, it turned out that he had quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations, which may be the reason for what some people might call his “lucky” day.
