Additional Persecution News from China – October 29, 2015 (Part II, 19 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 17 cities or counties in 9 provinces. According to this report, 6 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 42 were illegally arrested. Several practitioners seeking to mail letters of complaint regarding Jiang Zemin to the Supreme People's Procuratorate)) and the Supreme Court have met with obstacles.

1. [Beijing] Ms. Wei Meifeng Sentenced

Ms. Wei Meifeng, arrested in March 2015, was later released on bail pending trial. She was arrested by a Procuratorate on September 23 and later sentenced to a one- year prison term.

2. [Huanggang City, Hubei Province] Ms. Duan Yuzhen Arrested

Ms. Duan Yuzhen, 68, was arrested by officers from the Dafashi Town Police Station in Wuxue City on September 13, 2015. While detained at that police station, she was beaten by six officers and forced to give her fingerprints. She was released later that day.

3. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Cao Junrong Detained

Mr. Cao Junrong was arrested by officers including Li Jun from Chengfeng Police Department on October 27, 2015. He was detained at the Dulitun No. 2 Detention Center for 15 days.

4. [Beijing] Ms. Zhao Wenzhen and Two Other Practitioners Detained

Ms. Zhao Wenzhen and two other practitioners were arrested by officers from the Chengguan Police Station in Miyun County on October 23, 2015. The police confiscated Falun Gong books, a picture of the founder of Falun Gong, paper bills having information about the persecution of Falun Gong on them, and other personal items. They were all detained at the Chaoyang Detention Center for 15 days.

5. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Rongying and Ms. Gao Keling Arrested

Ms. Li Rongying and Ms. Gao Keling were arrested by officers from the local {{610 Office and police station on October 26, 2015.

6. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Ms. He Ruiping Arrested

Ms. He Ruiping was arrested by officers from the Longgang Police Station on October 26, 2015. The police confiscated Falun Gong books and informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong.

7. [Beijing] Mr. Du Wenge Sentenced

Mr. Du Wenge was sentenced to a four-year prison term by Daxing District Court on October 27, 2015.

8. [Jinzhong City, Shanxi Province] Nine Practitioners Arrested

Nine practitioners were arrested by officers from the Taigu County Domestic Security Division on October 9, 2015, for suing Jiang Zemin, the former Chinese dictator. They are Ms. Wu Xintao, Ms. Chen Quanying, Ms. Li Qiaoying, Ms. Guo Runlan, Ms. Liu Zhengxian, Ms. Sun Zhaolian, Ms. Zhu Xianhua, Ms. Zhang Yulan, and Ms. Gui Bianmei.

Ms. Zhu was detained for 10 days. Ms. Wu was detained for 7 days. Ms. Li and Ms. Sun, after being detained for 15 days, were taken to Qiwusanchang Brainwashing Center. Ms. Zhang was detained for five days. The other four practitioners were released the same day they were arrested.

9. [Yingtan City, Jiangxi Province] Ms. Xiong Ying Detained

Ms. Xiong Ying, arrested for distributing informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong, was sentenced to a three and a half year prison term. She is detained at the Yingtan City Detention Center.

10. [Fuyang City, Anhui Province] Ms. Ma Jinping and Three Other Practitioners Detained

Ms. Ma Jinping and three other practitioners were recently detained at Fuyang City Detention Center for suing Jiang Zemin, the former Chinese dictator.

11. [Zibo City, Shandong Province] Mr. Zhai Mouchen Arrested

Mr. Zhai Mouchen was arrested by officers from the Cuijun Police Station in Nanding Town on October 27, 2015.

12. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Yao Fengyun Detained

Ms. Yao Fengyun was recently detained at Shenyang No. 1 Detention Center for suing Jiang Zemin, the former Chinese dictator.

13. [Liaocheng City, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Xiaoshuang Detained

Ms. Li Xiaoshuang was asked to come to her workplace by her boss on October 23, 2015. She was arrested by officers from the local Domestic Security Division. She is detained at Linqing Detention Center.

14. [Chifeng City, Inner Mongolia] Five Practitioners Arrested

Five practitioners were arrested by officers from the Ningcheng County Domestic Security Division and the Xizi Town Police Station on October 27, 2015. They are Ms. Liu Yaping, Mr. Zhang Shengli, Mr. Zhang Zongliang, Ms. Li, and Mr. Yu Hongli.

Mr. Zhang Shengli and Mr. Yu were released after being extorted 1,000 yuan. Mr. Zhang Zongliang was extorted 1,000 yuan and detained for 15 days. Ms. Liu's whereabouts is unknown.

15. [Linquan County, Anhui Province] Mr. Ji Jie on Verge of Death

Mr. Ji Jie was arrested by officers from the Linquan County Domestic Security Division and Tanpeng Town Police Station on April 5, 2015, for distributing informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong. He is detained at the Fuyang City Detention Center.

While detained at the detention center, Mr. Ji was handcuffed to his back and subjected to different types of tortures. He developed incontinence and is now on the verge of death due to persecution. He was taken to Hefei City for treatment.

16. [Dashiqiao City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zheng Guizhen Detained

Ms. Zheng Guizhen was arrested by officers from the Gangdu Police Department and Dashiqiao City Domestic Security Division on October 10, 2015. She is detained at the Yingkou City Detention Center.

17. [Chenzhou, Hunan Province] Ms. Li Jumei Detained

Ms. Li Jumei was talking to a group of students about the persecution of Falun Gong on October 23 when four officers drove up and seized her. Her family later learned that she is now being detained at the Chenzhou City Detention Center.

18. [Lindian County, Heilongjiang Province] 11 Practitioners Arrested

Officers from the Lindian Police Department arrested 11 local Falun Gong practitioners on the afternoon of October 22, 2015, because they filed complaints against Jiang Zemin for launching the persecution of Falun Gong. Their homes were also ransacked.

The 11 practitioners included Ms. Lu Chaobo, Ms. Leng Xiuxia, Ms. Wang Kun, Mr. Wang Fengchen, Mr. Ai Jiaojie, Mr. Xue Liwei, Ms. Zheng Yaoping, Mr. Wang Gang, Ms. Wang Yuru, Ms. Wang Yumei and Mr. Jiang Hongjie.

19. [Jiaozhou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Song Guixiang and Her Daughter Still in Critical Condition

Ms. Song Guixiang and her daughter Ms. Li Xue remain in critical condition. Their three lawyers visited relevant departments on October 26, 2015 to seek their immediate release.

The lawyers were given the runaround by Jiaozhou City Police Department, Jiaozhou City Court, Jiaozhou City Procuratorate, and Pudong Detention Center. Having no place to seek justice for their clients, the lawyers filed complaints against the above agencies to Jiaozhou City Municipal Government.

Ms. Song and her daughter, Ms. Li were arrested on September 16, 2015 for filing lawsuits against Jiang Zemin. When their family visited them on October 9, they noticed their mother had become paralyzed from the waist down, and she complained about chest pains and high blood pressure. Her daughter remains in a coma after more than 20 days of a hunger strike to protest the illegal detention.
