Additional Persecution News from China – October 15, 2015 (33 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today's news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 24 cities or counties in 11 provinces. According to this report, 5 Falun Gong practitioners were subjected to mistreatment during their detention, and at least 41 were illegally arrested. Several practitioners seeking to mail letters of complaint regarding Jiang Zemin to the Supreme People's Procuratorate and the Supreme Court have met with obstacles.

1. [Beijing] Mr. Yan Kezhong Detained

Mr. Yan Kezhong was tried in the Yanqing County Court on October 14, 2015. The verdict will be given later.

Mr. Yan, arrested on May 11, 2015, has been detained at Yanqing County Detention Center.

2. [Nongan County, Jilin Province] Ms. Yang Taiying and Mr. Zhang Xianlei Arrested

Ms. Yang Taiying and Mr. Zhang Xianlei were arrested at home by officers including director Ren Haifeng from the Wanshun Police Station on October 10, 2015. Mr. Zhang was released that evening and Ms. Yang is still detained.

3. [Qianguo County, Jilin Province] Ms. Zhang Xiuchun Detained

Ms. Zhang Xiuchun was arrested by officers from the Qianguo County Police Department on October 13, 2015. She was detained at the Qianguo Detention Center for several days.

4. [Anyi County, Jiangxi Province] Mr. Chen Jingyong Arrested

Mr. Chen Jingyong was arrested on October 6, 2015.

5. [Nongan County, Jilin Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Ms. Li Yuhui, her husband Mr. Wang Zhiqing, and her son Mr. Wang Lei were arrested at home by officers, led by the director of the Kaian Town Police Station on October 13, 2015.

6. [Panzhihua City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Liang Sufang Arrested

Ms. Liang Sufang was recently arrested for posting stickers with information about the persecution of Falun Gong on them.

7. [Xindu District, Sichuan Province] Mr. Su Qinghua Detained

Mr. Su Qinghua, from Xindu District, was arrested by officers from the Sanwayao Police Station in Gaoxin District on September 2, 2015, for writing information about the persecution of Falun Gong on a wall. He is detained at Chengdu City Detention Center.

8. [Tonghua City, Jilin Province] Ms. Song Shuping Arrested

Ms. Song Shuping was arrested at home by officers including Yuan Wenqing from the Longquan Police Station in Dongchang District on October 13, 2015. She was taken to that police station but later released after her high blood pressure was 220.

9. [Beijing] Ms. Zhang Guifen and Her Family Members Arrested

Ms. Zhang Guifen and her husband and son were arrested by officers from the Niubaotun Police Station on October 13, 2015, for suing the former Chinese dictator Jiang Zemin.

10. [Beijing] Ms. Wang Yuxiang Arrested

Ms. Wang Yuxiang was arrested by officers from the Dadushe Police Station on October 13, 2015, for suing the former Chinese dictator Jiang Zemin. She was taken to a detention center, but released that evening because the center refused to accept her.

11. [Beijing] Ms. Ren Guifang Detained

Ms. Ren Guifang from Tongzhou District was arrested by officers from the Beiyuan Police Station on October 12, 2015. She is detained at Taihu Detention Center.

12. [Daqing City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Wang Guihua and Her Husband Arrested

Ms. Wang Guihua and her husband were arrested on October 10, 2015, for distributing informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong.

13. [Taigu County, Shanxi Province] A Dozen Practitioners Arrested

A dozen practitioners including Ms. Li Qiaorong and Ms. Liu Zhengxian were arrested by officers from the Taigu County Domestic Security Division on October 10, 2015.

14. [Yanggu County, Shandong Province] Mr. Yu Chuankun Detained

Mr. Yu Chuankun was arrested on October 13, 2015. He is detained at Liaocheng Detention Center.

15. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Whereabouts of Mr. Wang Jilin and His Wife Unknown

Mr. Wang Jilin and his wife were arrested by officers including Gu Zhiyong from Kuiwen District Domestic Security Division and Weizhoulu Police Station on October 13, 2015. Their whereabouts are unknown.

Ms. Li Meihua was arrested by officers from the Fenghuangtai Police Station in Zhifu District on October 14, 2015, for suing the former Chinese dictator Jiang Zemin. She was detained for ten days.

17. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Gong Xiaoli Taken to Hospital Due to Persecution

Ms. Gong Xiaoli was arrested at her work by officers from the Gongnong Police Station in Jiutai District on October 14, 2015. She was recently taken to a hospital for emergency treatment due to persecution.

18. [Shanghai] Mr. Yan Xihong Facing Trial

Mr. Yan Xihong was arrested by officers from the Fengxian District Domestic Security Division on May 12, 2014. He is detained at Fengxian Detention Center, and his detention term has been extended several times. He is now facing a trial.

19. [Shuangliu County, Sichuan Province] Mr. Xin Jichun Detained

Mr. Xin Jichun was arrested and taken to Tanghu Police Station on October 13, 2015, for posting informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong. He was detained at Shuangliu County Detention Center for 15 days.

20. [Yanggao County, Shanxi Province] Three Practitioners Detained

Ms. Fu Quanmei and Ms. Ren Mingfang were arrested on October 12, 2015, for suing the former Chinese dictator Jiang Zemin. They were detained at Datong City No. 2 Detention Center for 15 days.

Mr. Li Chengshan was also arrested that day. He was detained at a detention center for 15 days.

21. [Zibo City, Shandong Province] Two Practitioners Sentenced

Ms. Li Guie and Mr. Huang Jiasheng were arrested at home by officers from the Linzi District Domestic Security Division in May 2015. The police ransacked their homes and confiscated Falun Gong books, computers, printers, DVDs, and other personal items. They were each extorted 10,000 yuan in cash. They were later sentenced with probation by the Linzi District Procuratorate.

Mr. Li Jianguo was deceived by officers from the Dongjie Police Station and he went to that police station on October 13, 2015. He was detained for seven days.

23. [Beijing] Ms. Lu Junru Arrested

Ms. Lu Junru was arrested by officers from the No. 1 Division of the Liyuan Police Department and Liyuan Police Station on October 13, 2015, when she distributed informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong. The police also ransacked her home.

24. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Liu Xiaoya Sentenced

Ms. Liu Xiaoya was recently sentenced to a three-year prison term by Heping District Court in Shenyang City.

25. [Yuncheng City, Shanxi Province] Ms. Zhou Guohua Detained

Ms. Zhou Guohua was arrested at her carpet shop by plainclothes officers on October 13, 2015. She was detained for ten days.

26. [Chongqing] Mr. Deng Qingli Arrested

Mr. Deng Qingli was arrested and taken to the Yangjiaping Brainwashing Center on September 8, 2015, after he distributed informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong.

27. [Linshu County, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Juan Arrested

Ms. Li Juan was arrested by officer from Jiaolong Police Station on October 12, 2015. The police confiscated her computers and Falun Gong books.

28. [Gongyi City, Henan Province] Ms. Zhang Xinzhi Arrested

Ms. Zhang Xinzhi was arrested at home on October 12, 2015.

29. [Baoji City, Shaanxi Province] Two Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Duan Baojun and his son Mr. Duan Minggang, from Baoji, Shaanxi Province, were questioned railway police officers while they traveled to Urumqi for work. The railway police confiscated Zhuan Falun, the Falun Gong main book, an MP3 player, music box, and other personal items.

When they got off the train on October 6, 2015, they were arrested by railway police officers. Mr. Duan Minggang was released that day and Mr. Duan Baojun is still detained at Urumqi Railway Detention Center.

30. [Chongqing] Ms. Gao Yunxia Arrested

Ms. Gao Yunxia was arrested at home by officers from Longshan Police Station, the 610 Office, and Domestic Security Division in Yubei District on October 13, 2015. She was taken to Longshan Police Station. The police confiscated her computer, laptop computer, printer, and other personal items.

Ms. Li Qin was arrested at home by officers including Zhang Yong from the Hongshan Town Police Station on October 14, 2015. She was taken to that police station and the police confiscated her Falun Gong books and informational materials about the persecution of Falun Gong.

32. [Jinyun County, Zhejiang Province] Three Practitioners Taken to Brainwashing Center

Ms. Li Yuefen and Ms. Li Zhilan were arrested by officers from the Huzhen Town Government and Police Station on October 13, 2015. They also arrested Mr. Yu Ruxiong. All three practitioners were taken to Xiaojun Brainwashing Center in Dayuan Town.
